Whole lot easier way better track that plastic track you had I guess it it was OK to start out with, but it’s really not OK. Love what you guys are doing, man keep it up.😊

Wow, another well made video, the style of it is just like some documentary one see at some major network. Not bad haveing such a guy/gal create videos, as a small channel
@Rimrock300 Жыл бұрын
Good video, great 'how to' documenary for those wanting to build their own track. The one making this video must be quite proffesional, the way of setting up this as a documentary, having the guys telling the story, would not think this is the work of a average joe with a camera

Great driving tips. After you brake by releasing your index finger from the trigger and then return your index finger to maintain momentum, how much pressure do you apply to the trigger? Is it just trial and error...crash and burn? until you no longer crash? Thanks. I enjoy watching you videos.
@mikestott98282 жыл бұрын
There is no right answer as each car and track is different. So I guess it is trial and error. You should be able to watch the car and see if it is looking unstable.

What material did you use for the walls to get it to bend with out breaking awesome job guys
@mikestott98282 жыл бұрын
The tight bends we used 1/4 and layered it. Use plenty of spring clamps to hold it together until the glue dries. Most of the bends we actually used the same material we used everywhere else. 1/2 MDF is quite bendable.
@gilbertandrews85672 жыл бұрын
Will that glue work with silicone tyres?
@mikestott98282 жыл бұрын
Gilbert we only run silicone tires, we only use Quick Slicks now but that glue works well you can also use silicone gasket material like RTV or Permatex.
@scottwilson94042 жыл бұрын
Are these cars held on the track magnetically, or are the using rubber and speed to stay on the track? I ask because it’s two different skills when building and racing slot cars.
@mikestott98282 жыл бұрын
There is no magnetic attraction on the track. The track is a wood track with copper braid. The tires we use is only Quick Slicks silicone tires.

Do the front wheels touch the track or not?
@mikestott98283 жыл бұрын
Yes they do, very lightly though I try to set them up so they are taking just the weight off the guide and braid.
