How would u review the animation clas a es youve taken at mcad?

In terms of quality/classwork/etc? Just tryna make sure I know what you're asking first 👀

@Clovercreek yes! Like how much do you think youve learned from the classes and stuff
@Clovercreek3 күн бұрын
@@SunriseGirl I think I've learned a pretty satisfying amount this year! This is my junior year at mcad, and the classes before this year felt very dependent on which professor you got (some don't always teach in ways that'll stick with you, but that's more of an unfortunate thing about school in general, not an MCAD specific issue). I had a lot of fun my first two years, but I didn't feel super challenged or like I was learning a ton of new info. This year has been a change though! The classes are super challenging in a good way, and having multiple animation classes at once has helped me to learn how to manage my time/energy. I'm a really big fan of Digital Animation because you get to learn more about specific drawing software. Character Animation 2 has also been great because it very intentionally goes through each of the steps that 2D animation requires in the industry (blocking/keys/rough animation/etc.), I also had that class with Kristin Solid and she's really cool!!

@@Clovercreek thank you so muxh for the response! How is the area around mcad/the social scene?
@Clovercreek3 күн бұрын
@@SunriseGirl Admittedly I don't venture off campus a ton but I know the city has a really great network of artists (especially animators). There are a lot of tabling/art sale opportunities throughout the year too! (smaller events, conventions, etc.) It is still a city though so it can be a little dangerous to just be walking around sometimes :,)
