Thank you for watching my film, and a huge thanks to everyone that helped make it possible! I worked hard on this during my final year at Sheridan in 2023, and I'm very happy to finally share it with you all. I learned a lot while creating this film, and I look forward to applying what I learned to more projects in the future. Any help in sharing this film around is greatly appreciated! I don't think they're based on any specific dinosaur (I mean, I'm no expert but I think as a kid I would've been aware of raptors with dragon-like horns if they existed), but rather represent a clichéd "Rule Of Cool badass monstrous dinosaur" types like the stuff out of Primal and any old Pulp Magazine-inspired works. Which is a nice contrast to the feathered raptor.

Are those Pachycephalosaurs? I love when people make them go feral. You can't tell me that a creature that had a huge morning star for a skull wasn't a menace regardless of its diet.
@patronsaintofprocrastinationАй бұрын
Agreed! And most herbivorous dinosaurs would be total menaces. They were huge, very powerful and lived alongside some of largest and deadliest predators ever. They would need to be very agressive to survive, just like herbivores in the African savannah. Just because something won't eat you, it doesn't mean it won't kill you.
@nathancomixproductions46624 күн бұрын
@@patronsaintofprocrastination Objection! Pachycephalosaurs wouldn't have teeth as big as 0:10 because they look more like theropod teeth. I suggest that they're an undiscovered species of ceratosaur, the likes of which appear as if it's a missing link between the archaeoceratosaurs (eg: Coelophysis, Dilophosaurus, Herrerasaurus, etc) and the neoceratosaurs (eg: Ceratosaurus, Carnotaurus, Masiakasaurus, etc). This is absolutely fantastic, I love how you were able to tell a complete story full of suspense and emotion with no words needed! The sounds for each species work so well, especially the hisses and chirps the raptors use. The lighting/color change at the climax of the fight was a really clever way to differentiate the rapid POV changes. I also appreciate that you were able to show the violence of the fight and death without being overly gory, you hit the perfect balance. This is an amazing film for your thesis, I hope you are very proud of what you have achieved so far! Major props to the whole team for this one, I would definitely watch more from this world.
