I just want to add that in North Beech you can find a woman at night that is looking at the sea, and if you talk to her she will tell you about this "creepy clown that goes around chasing people at night", which confirms that he chases everyone, not only the player.

I remember encountering Clown Time and asking a friend who knows a lot about about Yokai Watch. They could NOT remember Clown Time at first, which made it more scary for me. They later remembered it but couldnt tell me more. Yokai Watch 3 was definitely one of the most enjoyable and wildest games I've played, its a shame how little is documented about it and the series in general. There's something very amusing about getting attacked by zombies sent by a clown in "America" and your american friends joking thats just daily life for them.

Clown Time and the Red Box add some additional fun features to the games that adds to its mystic and creepiness. As per usual, even these serve a purpose in being some of the only ways to obtain some rare Yo-Kai, which is something I’ve always loved these games for.

One thing abt the red box is if you do the "non-existent fancy that" quest on nate side, you cant open the box once your in katie's world if you have it in your inventory. it will say something along the lines of "you cant do this right now" if you try to open it

I didn’t even know Clown Time even existed my first time playing 3. It took me playing a second play through during the post game when I saw a walking NPC on the bottom map in the graveyard. At first I thought it was going to be a quest I’ve never encountered but instead I got a mini heart attack once the clown started chasing me…

I might be wrong, but I remember Hailey (during the quest where you had to look at the backs of the gravestones) warning about how there might be dangerous people at night. Since the clown could spawn in the graveyard at night, maybe this was meant to be a warning to players? (Or maybe it’s just a line that she says that has no correlation)

It's pretty interesting that you can experience terror time as the Gargaros instead of being the one running from Gargaros, it makes you wonder if any of the other terror times occur because a random person opened the red box

I love the random stuff the Yo Kai Watch games have, terror time, zombie night, the golden train in 2, finding the stew guy randomly at night, I've always loved going out at night in the games for that, the night songs really help, kinda feel like I'm doing something I shouldn't or something

Nice video. There's only one thing that doesn't add up for me. It turns out that I could swear that in Yo-kai Watch 3 you can't return the red box. I was extremely disappointed, because I went through the whole story and most of the postgame with a red box. So, either I've had very bad luck and I've never gotten the boy from the box again, which I doubt, because I've played a lot of YW3 and I have the medallium at 100%, or you just can't return it in YW3. I'd like to know if you've found any video of YW3 returning the red box. If not, do you remember where you got the information from? Well, still, very good video. I already knew all the effects of the red box and the clown, but it was good to remember them as well as knowing what items you can get. Keep up the good work!

@@ENOCH_VK you definitely can and it works the same as in ykw2 (you find him again and he gives you a chance to return it) I've literally done it several times in ykw3. I think you just got unlucky which is probably because his spawn only resets when you sleep in ykw3 whereas in ykw2 his spawn resets every time you reset an area

In order to reset them you need to sleep a day. I linked a video in my original reply and mabye that's why it got removed? Anyway search up 妖怪ウォッチリズムミニゲーム (yo-kai watch rhythm minigames in japanese) on youtube and it should come up with a video with all the rhythm minigames.
