I was playing Bubba the other night, and had a two stack of blood lust, and couldn't catch up with a survivor, who was out pacing me in constant bursts of speed. Eventualy they made a wrong turn into a corner and got chainsawed down. Picked them up and they were bucking like a bronco. I could barely move. Got them to the hook, and soon as I hooked them I reved up my chainsaw again, and sure enough right off the hook, and got chainsawed down. Camped their fallen body for a minute and a half, picked them up, and put them right back on the hook. Got a 1k, and at the end of the game looked at their perks. They had none. Cheaters are making a laughing stock of this game. It is unplayable. I'm not a good killer mind you, I've gotten to V rank 3 at my best, but even I know bullshit when I see it.

@@davogrady I realized too no one used OoO, but it was my first thought. It activates on all ranges tho. OoO activates when the killer can see your aura, so using the aura reading add-on for clown would also work in their favor.

Literally no server side protection, limited logs of games and slow response times. There are people with over 200 hours who openly cheat and aren’t banned. My preference for Dbd has always been survivor with that being said I've never liked linking with friends playing this game. Swf is just not what the concept nor the flavor the developers had in mind. I find the games to be more exciting with strangers because they are somewhat unpredictable. So I agree swf is a mistake in my opinion. I do have a fix that Dbd developers should of implemented a long time ago. Have two separate que. One for solo que and the other group que and have the killer choose which que to join. Then watch the rage tears because people can't bully the killer anymore.

The group queue would then die because of long queue times. Then to keep it alive, BHVR would need to offer something like bonus BP for killers to queue against groups basically saying "we will pay you to experience this bullshit we created"

Yes I think so but we can assume so due to smaller percentage of killers who are actually good at the game. This presents an opportunity though not to give them more bloodpoints but more or less a challenge to veteran killers. This atleast provides a option for inexperienced killers to hone their skills without being bullied which could turn them into a bully aka face camping etc. Also you haven't even considered what the long que times could do to players who are swf that do bully their killer opponent. This perhaps could lead them down a road of being humble and not being so toxic. Where you have the current system it doesn't hold any swf accountable for their behavior. It's like not only do you have to win and dominate the game but now humiliate and troll your opponent. This is toxicity at simple definition. Therefore if dbd did include separate ques the conclusion would be not all but at least the majority swf are held responsible for how they carry themselves in the game.

Alone I was a survivor main but seeing survivors cheating in this game made me become a killer main the toxicity stops people playing. dosent put me off it only makes me want to become even better. I'd be curious to hear Tru3 explain how to nerf SWF. I personally don't think SWF is the real issue, while it is annoying and definitely gives survivors an advantage I'm not sure how you'd design around it. The only thing they could do is just disable SWF, but that would suck since people want to play survivor with their friends. And obviously they're gonna all be hanging out and talking while they play. But he's right that the game doesn't take SWF into consideration as much as it should when it just comes to the basic game design. Many perks, builds, strategies, and even killer powers are countered fairly hard by survivors on comms coordinating. I think the game is much more fun on comms for survivors though, and it gives us a larger survivor pool when people bring their friends to play DBD. I'd like to see BHVR address SWF in some way, I'm just not sure how. But it does seem like the elephant in the room when it comes to the games balance. BHVR should atleast clarify how they'd like to see survivors play and how they'd like to handle the differences between a killer having to go against a 4-man coordinated team on comms vs going against just a group of randoms. Because as it stands it's a dice roll and the game doesn't even let you know (obviously because a lot of killers would just start DCing any match with a 4-man and make SWF impossible to play anyways) The real issue is the cheaters, especially at higher MMR and especially as a streamer like tru3 who gets sniped a ton. And DBD is a game that is very easy to subtley hack in. For every match I encounter someone blatantly speeding around spamming flashbangs, who knows how many are just running around with stretched res or just sneakily increasing their speed by just enough so that killer can never catch up in a chase or wall hacking or auto-deadhard. All of that is hard to call out as a killer because it's not always super obvious, and so we get into the spot we're at now. With higher rank killer lobbies being unplayable because you're almost guaranteed to get atleast one hacker in each match who cheated their way to blood rank. But your hands are tied because who knows if that survivor hacked or if they're just cracked. You start catching onto it and can notice when you chase someone with bloodlust 2 and they're still pulling away, or they hit a perfect deadhard while standing still even after you baited it out and waited for it. The latter actually being possible but just so highly unlikely it's hard to know what actually just happened.

Perhaps offer killers more BP for going against SWF or maybe even a ticket system almost like Overwatch began to use. Get tickets for playing against SWFs that then grant you priority to match against solo survivors. It'd be hard to juggle, you'd be splitting the ques. With survivors perferring to play SWF and killers really wanting to go against solo que. I think it'd be better to just balance the game with comms in mind personally. Que times would get abysmal for both sides if you split the pools like this and gave killers the option to guarantee they go against solo survivors.

Although, I'm convinced any change would be perceived as bad change since the solo crowd would hurt the most from a swf balanced dbd. Id argue that it's best to let the game die. Hackers are usually a clear sign that a game has outlived its expected lifespan. Dbd, has a ton of hackers. I know its not what we're talking about but it plays a part in the mentality of players.

The worst game I ever had was against a swf all using sabotage and the perk that let's someone wiggle faster along with flashlights. They literally did no gens, and only followed me around as a group because they knew to beat them would take fucking forever and would be an absolute slog. Disconnected after 10 minutes and they DM'd me on PS after going "uwu love you". Decided to give the game a break for a while after that, just really isn't fun sometimes.

Its such a shame too, at low elo the game feels far more enjoyable and fair, barring the rare killer or survivor who just hasn't played in ages but retains their higher skill set in low rank lobbies, games feel like they should as marketed. Intense 4v1 matches. But the second people hop on comms, that changes to "can this killer player out sweat a 4stack." Made worse when the game could be rigged in survivor favor from the get-go if they made the mistake to chose anything but a top tier killer, got a bad map, aren't leveled, facing meta tuned loadouts, etc.

Hmm I remember the old coldwind famrs, the normal wooden walls were see through. God it was so awful, everyone looped like the david in this example, because the game design actually allowed it. Survivors who understood called it broken BS, because it offered zero mindgame potential for the killers. But most survivors and esp. SWF thought it was fair and balanced. SWF used to be somewhat balanced in the terms, that killers could potentially pull some very mean stunts, like instant moris, overpowered addon combos and simply playing like an ass. But over time, BHVR nerfed everything down so the 08/15 survivor with 10 hours could have fun. Huntress iri hatchets nerfed to a third of their former potential, billy addons neutered, noed got hexed and thus has counterplay, NURSE. Nurse got everything reduced to about 20% of its former strength. She used to be easier to use, her addons could make her a verifiable monster, but survivors cried when their undefeatable SWF got slapped by a good nurse. Moris went from insta to 1hook to 2hook. Oh and ruin, how could you forget. It used to be THE watershed perk, that divided the survivor playerbase between noobs and decent players. If you could hit the skillchecks you were in the upper tier, if you couldn't you'd forever stay in the brown/yellow ranks. For some reason, BHVR is deadset on making everyone the exact same, skill wise.

Reporting actually does get cheaters banned, I checked a report i did on a previous cheater and they did in fact get banned, after checking their profile they got a vac ban 1 week after I reported them with the evidence. 3 Problems 1, their anticheat is outdated to all hell. 2, they take too long to actually ban them compared to other games. 3, they haven't even thought of a system to auto detect actions that shouldn't be possible in the game cause they are too focused on content instead of game health smh.

Swf can be so broken. The game isn’t intended to have voice communication, otherwise there would in game voice chat, and is best played solos queue. Yet I can never find a game without 2 to 3man swf. The flashlight, pallet, and sabotage saves are supposed to be situational, when you happen to be near. If everyone on the team is saving 1 person it’s not even fair or possible at times. Yet you’re the bad killer for being exploited by every second chance perk in the game, while there is always at least one person doing gens. “EZ” of course it is smh.

This is just pure BS and horrible balancing at its finest. At the end of the day, it’s a game and Tru3’s been getting worked up quite a bit over these pathetic people trying to get a reaction like this out of him, I feel it’d be a wise decision to take a break from DbD and regain composure. Perhaps playing a more relaxed, yet entertaining game, such as FNaF Security Breach as it seems to be attracting the DbD community, why not play something like that for a change and then come back to DbD? Should be a breath of fresh air.

Can you imagine if devs will actually do something about swf? Normal things like giving a warning to a killer if there are people in a group and increase time needed for repearing gens and all that. Those are really simple and obvious solutions to this problem. But there will be tons of crying and whining everywhere from people who got used to having ingame advantage that killer cannot counter... Like rivers of crying about how it's unbalanced and how it's unfair that killers has right to decide whether they want to play against sfw or not instead of not having any choice. This is why I don't play this game much anymore, the devs are so out of touch of their own game. The last thing they nerfed were OoO and keys for survivor and that took them how long years? It's always the same pattern buff survivor when it's already op, nerf a killer that does not need nerfing. If the David was cheating then isn't that the main issue? Yet you complain about swfs the whole game. Like they're running a sabo build. You were on David almost the whole game, the Feng was pretty much keeping close the whole time along with the Kate. The Meg was probably the one doing a majority of the gens. Had this of been a normal game with no potential cheaters would you have still complained about swf? Because a whole team playing for sabo while 1 person does gens the whole game puts you at an advantage. I've done the sabo swf before and you just lose against competent killers 99% of the time.

I mean, they don't have to be all PC. It might be less common, but they can definitely be a full swf, they just need Discord. At least 3 people were on comms, for sure. (1 cheating too) Also, even if the 4th person wasn't on comms with them, it doesn't matter, all they need is him to do gens, and that's what he was doing lol 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't see a problem with a swf better then playing solo with survivor who don't do gens and waste pallets without looping ik the game is survivor side but I play both side equally when I get stressed out by playing killer I rather do survivor or face camp bubba for chill games but the real problem are hackers in dbd

The Problem is that the game Stats, are based on all the community and not in Solo/Duos or 4 Man Teams. This makes the game exponentially harder to balance and even unfair. A perk like Object, is pure meme in solo/duo since its value is almost none, and the only thing you gain is the killer finding and probably following you every 10 seconds, but it is totally autistic in a 4 man, since you can slap it on your strongest looper and he can just call out the position of the killer from time to time, protecting your team and making your job way faster, and it will still might take a eternity for the killer to down this survivor. Similarly Boon: Circle of Healing and We Will Make It, aren't that big of deal in solos, but put it in the hands of a 4 man and even if you keep hurting them, and use perks like Sloppy Butcher, they will heal so fast it won't make a difference, and this breaks really hard character like Wraith, Hag and Legion (Mainly Wraith), who relies on ambushing and hurting you and them doing the same to other surv. SWF is kinda toxic in a competitive scenario, and is 2 times more toxic when the same SWF can bully (Stun and Blind 14 Times in a Roll) the killer and still get out of the match alive, AND expecially when the game punish you for doing things like ending the match soon by killing all 4 survivors in a single hook, or slugging everybody, or camping the hook despite 2 Survivors being around the hook, or punishing your emblems every time you fail to not get decisive striked or stuned when you are understress.

The problem is a balance issue. DBD balance is way too one sided for swf to be fair and balance. Friday the 13th handled voice comms very good. 7 survivors versus 1 killer. Jason was strong enough to handle communication between the survivors. DbD killers are too weak to justify it to be considered fair. Even VHS has voice comms and so far for that game, it's not a problem.
