I also encountered someone that did this, thankfully they didnt have soul guard. I kept him slugged during egc and downed someone else that went to try and pick him up. He sat there tbagging and flashlight clicking while I stalled the egc timer. I then hooked the random and activated my blood warden with not enough time for it to run out so he dced and called it a crutch perk lul

lmao. Let's not forget about the new matchmaking system. Don't know about you guys but the matchmaking changes they've made have made almost all my games very unenjoyable and much worse than before. I haven't been playing for long but is it really that hard to simply match people by a mixture of their rank and their player level? Almost everyone that I get matched with has about 5-20 times the playtime that I have so it's difficult to keep up. Just a few games ago I was up against a Rank 1 Killer with thousands of hours playtime vs a Rank 4 (me), 5 and 2 Rank 14-17s which were obviously new to the game judging by their perks and playstyle. Let's also not forget about how many absolute trash perks exist in the game, who would ever use "Premonition" for example? How can you even compare that dumbster perk to "Spine Chill"? Or the fact that "We're gonna live forever" and "BBQ" get to exist at the same time while one is basically only half a perk compared to the other. --> Of course it's always much easier to complain than to do the actual work. I have respect for the devs for making the game and keeping it more or less fresh, yet there are so many issues that they seem to completely ignore.

lmao that guy definitely knew what to do, just look at that build :D No mither grants him easy way to enter the dying state after one hit. Then he turns on lag switching if killer tries to pick him up. If not, he can recover multiple (10) times (fast recover because of "unbreakable" and possibility to recover as long as he has health bar in dying state because of "no mither") and get the "endurance" effect from Soul Guard. But yeah, "ez" to turn on hacks. Jeez, I hope devs will block him asap.

I think this is a misconception with true though, in my opinion. As you said, it’s hard to enjoy yourself when there’s games like this, especially when the game has it set when players are playing well or cheating, you’re very limited to what you can do as killer or he gets the worst survivors game after game. I do think a lot of the time though when people take it as him complaining he’s just explaining to chat what’s happening in game or about to happen such as ds, dead hard etc for people who may not know for commentary. That’s my opinion anyway! ❤️

Tru3 lost 4 hours of his Sunday funday stream because someone passed a false ban onto his account. That day is all about fucking around and not taking the game seriously. It is absolutely up to the parents to recognize and deal with it when they see it manifesting but people just aren't born pure and blank. Most parents aren't fit to raise a human being and it really shows but you don't see every kid from a broken home become an abuser. There's absolutely a strong correlation but no amount of love can fix them if they become like this, just silence them until something else makes them unhappy and it starts all over again. There's a level of deep seated frustration and coping mechanisms that strip you of the ability to see reality coherently at one point. Inflicting damage onto others becomes power and they don't want to let go of it, nor do they need to because they've villainised enormous groups of people so they themselves don't feel bad about being bad people. I've seen this in dbd mobile. They lag out to keep you from picking them up. I can usually pick them up by faking pick up (if they use the switch before the pick-up animation, it will just block you from picking them up w/out freezing you in animation) and then spamming the button until they reconnect. When they reconnect they have a tiny window to do it again or I can pick them up. They usually don't do it by the hook, but when they do, you can't drop them while they're lagged out, and by the time you can again they will just get free, so stand at the hook and spam that button. Just like picking them up, they will have a short window to do it again or they'll get hooked. Gawd!!... Cheaters are the worst thing to happen to any video game ever.

Its kinda useless... In the games, the "anti-cheat" system often bother more the legit players than the cheaters... Because often, cheats comes with a way to bypass these security system day one. For example... When Monster Hunter World : Iceborn was out... The game was pretty laggy because of a anti-cheat that you was unable to shut down... Hackers find a way to bypass that anti-cheat day one, so... Every legit players got problem with a Monster Hunter World that was using all the CPU of your computer... When cheaters was able to play without any problem... See the irony of that situation and pretty sure that would be the same with Day by Daylight. PS : Sorry for my English! Hey tru3, let me tell you one thing, i've versed as huntress a team full of blendettes with 2 red keys, one purple medkit and a purple flashlight, they all put thicken mist and yamaoka offerings, they were literally hiding everytime without them getting chased, and despite of all of their efforts for me not to see them, i sniped quite a few shots and almost downed them all. Until i tried to hook a guy which i literally couldn't. He had 67 ping during the normal game, when it came to him getting hooked, instant 1020 ping. I tried to hook him once, didn't work, played few more mins until i tried again and literally couldn't. I was literally like " so they still can't win normally but they'll use those methods as well " and i DCd cuz i cba. Wish they'd ban those guys cuz this literally ruins the game experience.

There's always this correlation that goes along with all these hackers in videogames that they always act like little children when they get caught. It's super weird and tells you a lot about them as a person. Usually the best thing you can do is not give them any attention, so you handled the situation really well. Not just survivors that cheat. Had a few killers who went right to the locker I was in to find me. This was at start of match and I used quick and quiet and iron will (max ranks). Wasn’t even in terror radius when I got in.

I had a similar experience. There was a bill who had the exact lagging. I can get first hit, but never 2nd hit. Every time i get close, the random collision appears, and he disappears as soon as i start swinging. I managed to down him once because i turn back as soon as i feel the collision. And i downed him when he's FIXING A GEN. Stupid hackers..

I also got a hacker yesterday, he was stepping over my traps and wasnt getting caught in them, the good part was that he trew his team off and when they tryied to vault they were getting trapped. I presume they were swf also, cuz when they 3 genned themselves they took The game hostage for like 5 minutes until i started chasing them and keep in mind that all 4 of them were alive at that point. They did had a key and knew where the hatch was but didnt opened it

Not going to the three gen to force the killer to chase you doesn't make you an swf you could just have game knowledge. That being said I play in an swf all the time as it is the only way I have any fun in this game so more than likely swf.

i saw this shit with killers , yesterday i queued up against 2 of them, one of them i was trying to open the Gate after he Went AWAY, and hes terror sound went away, instantly i tried to open the gate and after 2 seconds later he was behind my back again, it was teleport lag like 11:48, disgusting.

No mither allows you to indefinitely recover from the dying state as long as your downed state still has health. So whenever true downed him he could get back up.

Pretty sure Otz played against this guy or someone doing the same thing. There perks were a bit different as they had borrowed time. He managed to kill everyone leaving just this guy and ultimately he DCed because Otz was gonna just keep hitting him to the ground. It's insane that players do this on a dedicated server. Typically you'd see it on P2P games where the player is the host of the match. Like back when killers would do it before we had servers as they'd be the host.

Recently installed dbd again only to face one of these no life cheaters. I was playing as spirit and got everyone injured or hooked but when I picked up the cheater and he struggled free (obviously) everyone immediately genrushed and escaped thanks to the game's absolutely putrid gen speed. I appreciate how dbd always reminds me why it should always remain uninstalled whenever I make the mistake of giving the game the slightest chance. 🙃
