@@FragFreak Indeed. Glad it worked out for you though. What u think about doing, say 10% oil and 90% spray to increase the longevity? I'm sure the sillage is crap from the oil version. Thinking about this formula in a 5ml decant once I get it in. Also do you try many blending recipes of your fragrances?

@@woodypaq I blend (layer) my fragrances pretty much as often as wearing them by themselves. I mix and blend very, very often and love it! Probably my best ever layering is to use Jean Paul Gaultier Fleur Du Male mixed with Xerjoff Zefiro. Utterly freaking STUNNING!

I have read everywhere that cdnim edt black sprayer is way inferior to cdnim silver sprayer in performance. Now the oil version has insane longevity but poor projection. Hmmmmm. When will these perfumers make something that is worth it? Very good projection and longevity. It used to be done before. What happened? They only care about profit nowadays? Wow. How i miss the eighties and nineties. I remember the days when even Stetson for men was beastmode. Fragrances today are for sure not worth buying. Oh another thing they need to stop making all these flankers that all smell almost the same. Total ripoffs

LOL Deep breaths Bobby....and.......relax! Yeah, I know what you mean though, reformulation can be a complete downer. The frustration of getting a newer version of something that used to be wonderfully strong and long-lasting but turns out to be s**t now. That's happened to me with Givenchy Pi, Diesel Only The Brave and CK One Shock. Take it easy bro and cheers for watching!

youre right black sprayer cdnim projects for ten minutes and its gone within 90 ......most fragrances arent much better couple of hours at most ....i remember back in the day two sprays of old school kouros would last a full night of clubbing and still be projecting next day ...fragrances were nuclear ,nowadays im sick of buying stuff i can hardly smell myself ....whats the point ? i know certain ingredients cant be used anymore and reformulations happen but just make them stronger and charge us a bit more .when i wear stuff i dont want to gas people out but i want it to radiate from me at least a bit and feel i smell nice and enkjoy what im wearing ,having to stick my nose into where i sprayed an 80 quid fragrance half an hour earlier is a piss take

It's true the new black sprayer smells great but terrible performance. I never smelled the silver cap but own MB explorer too and that gets much much better performance than CDNIM black sprayer...I've been wondering about this oil though and what it might be like if I could add some of the oil into the edt bottle and mix..might be a longer lasting smoother frag

I think they smell almost exactly the same. The difference for me is the feel and the performance. I think the oil sits closer and is more relaxed and mellow whereas the spray jumps off the skin, projects like a madman and creates a huge cloud. They are both good but seem to behave quite differently when I wear them.
