Has more to do with access. Being in the league and making All-Star and getting a chip earns other players respect. Gets former teammates and players in the league to slide thru. Gets sponsors to put up the money to make it keep rolling. Now, that don't mean Teague ain't one of the best storytellers in the NBA or ain't worthy of having a podcast. But that resume helps get access and platforms three random cats would struggle to get.
