Big Dipper is a classic wooden roller coaster at the Pleasure Beach which opened in 1923 and was later modified in 1936.

I’m fairly certain it is, its a very historic coaster, the world’s first to feature upstop wheels, it’s 99 years old and it’s grade 2 listed, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon

They need to do a campaign promoting how good these old woodies are. The que lines are getting shorter and shorter and I even overheard someone say it must be boring because it's old! With the increase in interest in woodies thanks to RMC, now would be a great time for them to run a campaign, promoting their incredible selection of world class heritage rides.
