I like the Revolution. I am 40 now and can remember being too young/scared to go on it. Getting over that fear and going on for the first time and loving it ever since. It is part of growing up I think. I went to the pleasure beach earlier this year just after my 40th birthday and it was dead during the week so sometimes had rides more or less to myself. It was great to relive some memories of the old rides and experience the newer ones. Covid permitting, I will be going again next year when possible and it isn't too busy as I hate queuing up!

I found the Rev to be the hardest challenge there, it was the last of the major coasters I did there (before Infusion & Icon came along)

I can vividly remember riding The Big One for the first time in the late 90s. I had never experienced anything like that first drop! Finally got to experience Icon this summer. Incredible. Such a smooth ride and I love the restraints.

I rode Icon front row in august 2019 and was my favourite coaster but began to slip as I realised it wasnt as good as i thought. But then in July 2020, i went back and got two incredible back row rides that were just fantastic and so that's definitely my favourite memory. It's now firmly at 1st in my rankings again! Love everything about it, just hearing the music again in this video got me excited. Love these historical videos.

Two favourite memories if that's okay :) First is riding the Big One with my best mate in the mid 90's and both of us shouting 'F*************K!!!' on the 1st drop. Fast forward 20 odd years and I was doing the same thing with my nephew on both the Big One and Icon! To say the first drop on Big One surprised him is a slight understatement :)

Brilliant video as always. I love them all, loved the Big One's original drop, wish Revolution could have a bit of colour and be Red/White again. On that video though...Tokaydo Express! First kind of Rollercoaster I went on there in 1986 and that is where the love began for me, the big water ballast tanks on the ground used to freak me out for some reason. Great memories in my snapshot of 35 years as a fan. Merry Christmas Scott and all at PBE. Also best wishes for your 125th commemorations.

@@yourexperienceguide It did me but only them two water tanks, perhaps under the big yellow tent as well, I don't know daft things freak me out! Id love to be able to share all my memories from then. Around 86 ish there was a badge shop over by Revolution I think. I bought with money my Mum gave me a few badges. One was Superman, one was a skull, one was Ghostbusters and I cant remember the other. No word of a lie, I swear this on my life. I had them pinned to my green parker coat. I went on Ghost Train with my Dad and honestly no lie when we got off the Ghostbusters one had gone. We didnt know then about Cloggy and stuff. We just noticed 'hey you got a badge missing' I mean it just probably wasnt fastened on properly but to this day we laugh about the Ghost Train 'taking' my Ghostbusters bagde!!

As a child, the Tokaydo Express was one of only 3 rides my father would let me go on. The other two was the ferris wheel, and some strange ride that started out in the tall building near Noahs Ark, I think it was called the greatest show on earth. Oh and I was allowed in Noahs Ark, but I don't class that as a "ride". I seem to remember Noahs Ark originally rocking to and fro, but I wonder if that was a false memory. It wasn't until my teens when I was allowed on the decent rides. Can I just comment on how much I HATE the Steeplechase. Rough and uncomfortable. My favourite steely was the Revolution followed by the Pepsi Max Big One
