Johnny Manziel confronts Shannon Sharpe for saying playing in the Fan Controlled Football league was sad:
“It is sad Shannon. What you said on that day is exactly right. It is sad to watch a guy who had all the potential in the world, all the opportunity, all the resources and team around him and he still goes, ‘Pffft. F*ck that.’”

@@creationmuse2313 I think it was too much of a risk. @@lornegreen6755 So did Elway when he first played in the NFL(47%)! 4-12 the season before he became a starter. He got put in during the start of a losing season, only to end up winning a playoff game. Breaking a playoff pass record. Not Tebow’s fault they put him in a run, run, pass offense. Hard to get in rhythm like that. Regardless, he did well in his last preseason game in Philly. I could make a list of qb’s he should have been starting over since he entered the league. The Denver qb(Kyle orton) is 1 that he did start over, only because they thought the 2011 season was going to be a wash, just like their 2010 season was!💯

The thing is people have these high expectations when you’re really good at something when you’re young and you can be completely unaware of that. Completely unaware of others depending on you & looking up to you especially in football at a young age & when you fail that shame/guilt sticks w the individual. I went through it myself & to this day I still feel like I let everyone down cause I didn’t make it to the next level because I didn’t care of enough & wasn’t aware of the situation I was actually in.
