I must say, for a 10-year-old, Leslie's vocabulary is top-notch. And it took me a while to realize that Owen is actually intelligent enough to translate all of her talk into Layman's Terms.

I agree with you on that. However, in later games, she's also said to be 11. Which means that if the ClueFinders eventually attend high school and work their way through college, then Leslie ought to be 16; same goes for Owen.

Leslie, talk in Layman's terms so you don't have to repeat yourself all the time, geez. If you are that smart, you'd know that most people don't understand what you are talking about and you'll compensate for that by saying words that they DO get? >_> (No one likes over-complicated technical jargon, Leslie. It's grating.)
@Diamond12348 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure she just does this on purpose because she can say it in Laymon's terms right away (other then sighing all annoyed like *we're* the problem), so it's not like she needs time to think and translate it. :/ Well, autism is more of an inability to communicate with people and maintain relationships. www.webmd.com/brain/autism/symptoms-of-autism#2 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asperger_syndrome#Speech_and_language [Children with AS may have a sophisticated vocabulary at a young age and such children have often been colloquially called "little professors",] She might have Asperger Syndrome if that's the case, but so do I and I don't like to use complicated words like that unless I'm writing a paper where I'm trying to pad it out on purpose. I like to type a lot though. xD

We already had the British dubbed version of the first game (?) with Mathra and the monkeys and bugs, so we found it really weird that all the kids names were different in the American version. Owen was the only one who got to keep the same name! So yeah he's definitely the best. Josie, Sebastian, Lucy and Owen....
