I think the writing was bad and everything looked low budget. The styling was also atrocious especially since the first movie was known for it’s fashion. I’m surprised it lasted 3 seasons.

One thing that I really don't like about this episode is that her father was a lawyer, with I'm sure lots of friends who owns their own business or runs a business and instead of giving Cher the information she needed to run a business properly. He told her she couldn't do it and that she would fail. That really grinds my gears especially as these shows were geared towards kids and preteens. But I can't blame the character. The misogyny of the writers and the network mostly is very clear. And it said that instead of empowering kids to have their own business they work to deter and discourage them from even trying, planting seeds of scenarios of them failing. I'm so glad this era has evolved into one and of empowerment and not just encouraging girls to be bimbos. But that they can have their own.

Thanks for uploading the Clueless tv series. I liked the movie & this is pretty good too. Even tough it doesn't have Alicia Silverstone. Rachel Blanchard looks quite a bit like her though. I remember this show being pretty clearly low budget and off brand as a kid but I think I'm just remembering the later seasons or maybe I didn't know how to recognize when tv was actually expensive. These costumes, the music, there's a guest star or LA celebrity in every other episode, Scott Rudin was a producer...like how big was this show's budget?
