It's true, sometimes first impressions are wrong. Still, Logan wasn't in his best behavior here. To ask someone if she's having "sexual relations with this old guy", just because she was distributing the flyers, is wrong in itself. In his mind, she is already promiscuous with that "loaded" question. He doesn't even remember Rory from their first meeting so they're not at all friends nor just acquaintances. He got the brunt of Rory's annoyance bc he was with Collin who was insulting Marty, her pal, during their first interaction. Remember the saying, tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are. If your friends are snobs or what have you, the likelihood is great that you are the same way. That's a very good adage really!

These two belong together on this show. Don't get me wrong I loved all her pairings but each served a purpose. Dean was a first love respectful and understanding but going in a totally different direction. I wish they didn't mess with them after he got married. Jess pushed her to the understand that no romance would ever be her end all be all. She needed more. Logan, pushed her to fight for what she wanted. Even his father pushed her to fight for what she wanted, not in a nice way but she would never have set on top of that editor to give her a job if she had not been fighting his critism. Logan also pushed her to live not just to watch. I hate what they did to them in "A Year in the Life."

so true!! Dean definitely wasn't the one for her. he was always so jealous and thought that even if she was friends with a guy that something is between them which was crazy. Jess was very dramatic and to fast, while I did like them I think he just wasn't the one. Logan however I thought was an awesome boyfriend and Rory definitely should have said yes.

These two are so similar and truly running at the same speed, you can tell by how much their wittiness jumps out when they argue with each other! I’ve always shipped them the most because I truly believe Logan is Rory’s intellectual match, if you think about it. He’s most able to challenge and surprise her just as much as she does him. Out of all the pairings, their interactions are the most entertaining to watch for that reason :)

Mmm.... no, Jess is better in ‘a year in the life’ and he was better in the last 2 seasons but when Jess and Rory were dating I hated him, because he was self centered, he broke up Rory and Dean (Ik Rory broke Dean with his ex-wife up), he stole from Rory, Called his mom Liz, almost forced Rory to do the nasty, he had such a bad attitude and how he treated Luke was HORRIBLE.

Jess was too edgy and self-centered and Dean was way too vanilla. Logan matches her intellect, is different enough to keep things interesting, can hold his own in a debate, loves her like crazy, and knows when he's screwed up (which is where he has the edge on Jess). Team Logan

He didn't care about hurting Dean, he got a girlfriend JUST to make Rory jealous, he pressured Rory for sex, left without saying goodbye and also let Rory cheat on her boyfriends twice. Not to mention the fact that he's a dick to Luke and Lorelai and him and Rory are step cousins. Yeah he kinda sucks. Their relationship was also the shortest on the show I believe. I've only ever met one team Jess in my life and that's because she thought he was attractive (she also loves Logan). Still likes to "play" with his friends. Likes to cheat on his girlfriend/fiance. Still has money to do it. Rory is lost and lonely because of it. Jess is a serious hard worker. Dedicated to his craft and apparently to Rory. If they continue this story, I believe it is inevitable that Rory & Jess will become more than just friends. He was in Philadelphia, she in Stars Hollow again. Not that far away in this mythical show. Having her child there makes sense, and Jess would be the perfect father NOW to guide them both. Honestly I think Logan was Rory's best match because that's when she stopped being such a hypocrite and realised she does actually belong to the kind of privileged life she tried so hard to run away from (mostly because of her mom). During the whole series Rory and her family tried so hard to make it seem like her boyfriends were never good enough for her (Jess, Dean) but to be honest I think she's the one who didn't treat them right. Always leading one or the other on, having an affair, always having an opinion on things that don't concern her (Dean dropping out of school to sustain his family), never knowing who she has feelings for... Not everyone is going to wait around until you make up your mind sweetie. Not really sure why so many guys fell so hard for her (even Marty, who was supposed to be her one guy friend haha)
