What I appreciated about the movie is that it touched on the high school divisions, but it didn't make one class of people seem better than the other. And the "mean girls" were complex (haha, well, except for Amber). They dressed super fashionable but they also went to (what looked like) IHOP and went to parties where all kinds of people were invited. There was class division yet there wasn't at the same time, which is more true to life.
