What I really like about this movie is that Cher Horowitz was different from all the other rich pretty popular girls you typically see in movies and tv shows. She actually had layers and depth to her, instead of just being the stereotypical, one dimensional mean girl that came to dominate in the later half of the 90’s and 2000’s. While Cher could be spoiled, vain, flaky, and selfish at times, she does have a good heart, means well, and always looks out for the people who are close to her.

I think this is Shakespeare like "10 things I hate about you". Paul Rudd was also in "Romeo + Juliet" another classic 90's film

Great reaction. Clueless is a timeless classic, a truly remarkable movie that should be watched by younger generations. Of note: Clueless is a brilliant modernized adaptation of the 1815 classic novel "Emma" by Jane Austen (author of "Pride and Prejudice"). In both literary and cinematic circles, Clueless is considered one of the best film adaptations, in a modern/contemporary setting, of a classic novel. Another great example is "10 Things I Hate About You" with Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger, which is a 1990s set reimagining of Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew." I highly recommend, if you haven't already seen it.
