Glad you had a great time in our city! For anyone else who wants to visit, keep in mind that there is a free walking guided tour in English every day at 11 am and 6 pm, if you want to learn more about the city and the buildings. I really recommend it! The crowd gathers in front of the Mathias Rex statue and the tour takes about 1h30m to 2h. Happy travels!

Actually.... all the buildings in the center of the city are hungarians, cause Kolozsvár(Cluj) was originaly in hungary, but after Trianon, hungary lost 56% of his territory, and that included Kolozsvár as well. So that isn't romanian architechture

@Super MarioTransylvania was ruled by hungarians for 1000 yrs, search for the voivods list on wiki. The cities built by hungarians and germans, they did everything together for 1000 years (beautiful old city cores, castles etc.) but, also we must note that, romanians did nothing just stole everything. Btw hungary didnt had any colonies, are you joking? You know what? The real colonie today is the székely land, where the majority is hungarian.
@sabretooth88805 жыл бұрын
@Super Mario You romanians are the pathological liers and narcissists. Transylvania never was romanian land before 1920. You do nothing just throwing your chauvinist bullshits around. Actually its the romanians who had NO architecture. The truth is, everything was built by HUNGARIANS and germans. See the rullers of Transylvania hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erd%C3%A9lyi_vajda The Szekely land is a real colony, where the magyars are the majority.
@Qwerty1637i4 жыл бұрын
@@sabretooth8880 Nothing in Transylvania was built by Hunarians lmao, everything is either Saxon or Austrian. ( I study architecture and the only hungarian architecture in Transylvania can be found in villages around Covasna and Harghita.) And Szekely are not Hungarians, I'm part Hungarian and their culture is way different also they talk differently. Hungary didn't ruled Transylvania for 1000 years, around the the second half od the 15th century Hungary got conquered by the ottomans for nearly 200 years meanwhile Transylvania became independent. In the 18th century both Hungary and Transylvania became part of the Austrian empire till ww1 and that's when large cities in Transylvania like Cluj or Timisoara started developing. Hungary itself existd half of those supposedly 1000 years of ruling lmao. You people are taught so much bullshit down there.
