WOW! I am so thrilled to find this technique the very day I started planning my next bead embroidery project! I am always happy to find new how~to projects but this is the result of so much work and time! It is very generious of you to share such a break through technique. I also loved your foam piece insert idea. Both will definately be used. Can not wait to hit the store for these! Please keep up the good work! Robin

I totally get what you mean about figuring something out on your own. It's how I feel when I am designing a bag. I can't tell you how many times I rip seams out before I get to the final product! Very satisfying

Very nice result plus you're a funny lady to listen to which makes the video even more interesting. I will try this soon!

That is great that you figured it out. When you first posted about this I knew what you were talking about. I am a Native American dancer and one of my friends knows how to do this and she is planning on teaching me how to do it. I want to do a Bald Eagle so she wanted to teach so it can look 3-D. I can't wait to try this. I am so glad I have the interfacing you are using so I can do it. I got it for other projects but I have so musch of it I can try this too.

Wow what a wonderful job you did... I do remember when you first sent out a help from your viewers. I will have to try this as I so agree it looks amazing when you are done. It does look like a lot of beads needed tho. It just means I will need to go shopping again. :)

Such a cool idea!!! Thank you so much for sharing. I've begun doing beaded embroidery cuffs and this will be a great switch from Cabs!! Would also be neat to put a large faceted crystal round in the center instead of finishing the beads to the center.

I...I'm not sure! I'd probably play around with it until I was happy with the look. You don't have to start with 10 beads. There are just so many ways you could make a smaller circle.

Peltex! I was going to ask the same question about what you were beading on. I used a double layer of canvas and my first one came out great, thank you. I used the same blue beads as you as I had a very large bag of them and they were at arm's reach. Thank you for such great, clear and easy to understand videos.

Those ladies didn't spare any beads in the old style, that's for sure! Very lush work. That was a brand new tube I used, so I'm thinking about 8 grams for one 28mm flower.

Although unfamiliar with your brand of fishing line, being the good Southern girl I am, I think there's an easy fix for your ends fraying. Simply flick your Bic! Hold it for a second or two. If it forms a ball, just roll it between your finger and thumb while still warm. I use this method sometime when reinforcing a piece. Hope it works for you.

This is such a great tutorial!!! Thanks so much for sharing... Quick question, if i wanted to do a smaller circle shape, would you recommend starting with 10 seed beads and work in like you did with this sample, or start with more since it's a smaller circle? Thanks in advance for your response!

First, you did not show how to connect a ring to it. Second the fabric will get dirty in no time. We dont always remember to remove the ring when washing dishes or cooking etc. so fabric on a ring is out of the question, maybe for a brooch....
@1962dkd12 жыл бұрын
I can probably make that happen :) Let me know what fabrics you like that I have posted on Haileybelles FB page and I will do it! Maybe a trade.....bag for a bracelet????
