People don't understand that billionaires have about 90% of their money in stocks, usually for their own company. That money isn't realized gains as long as it's invested, meaning it can grow in value or lose value. I've seen people say that we should tax billionaires on their unrealized gains which is mad. How are you going to tax people on money they haven't made yet? Also do you tax them again on it when they sell it? If so what happens if the value is less when they paid the taxes than when they sell it, in which case they're getting a tax break? It's insane how much people don't understand about finances.

That girl wanting the wealthy to pay their fair share.. Well, she does have a point. Once you reach a certain amount of wealth you can avoid paying taxes by investing in things that are not taxed and then take out loans with those investments as collateral. You can pay off the loans with the interests from your investments which are not taxed and thus not a dollar goes to taxes and you can still have your mansion, private jet and supercars. All really wealthy people do this to some extent but many of those in the public eye make sure to pay some taxes for optics.

What i don't get with this crap goin on today is that u have these blokes deciding they wanna be Sheila's especially when it's sport. We haven't had the issues here in Australia that the US has with blokes that can't make a men's team of some sort like swimming for an example so they decide they now identify as a woman & blitz the real women outta the pool. Yet we don't see females deciding that they're now men & trying to get into mens sporting teams. Maybe there has been one or two, but I've not heard of one at all.
