Clutch noise?

Trying to get some tractor guy's opinions on this issue. I believe it is the clutch but fixing that means splitting the tractor so...

Very common noise. Both my 5410 and 5520 does The pto and traction throw out bearing guide holds a sealed bearing that steadies the traction shaft. That bearing had become loose in the guide allowing the traction shaft to rub on the pto drive shaft. This causes the pto shaft to turn and make the grating sound. If you look back after that noise you will see the pto turning. Have to split it to really fix it
