You had a hard time putting it together cause you have the boot secured. Youre fighting air pressure. Pull both bands off and secure boot after shafts are mated.

Mine got stuck on an upper control arm fitting. I had to tilt the grease gun coupler hard to one side and then use a wrench on the nut part above the coupler and turn that nut counterclockwise until it came off.

I "took the long way home" and it took about 45 minutes. It needed a lot of cleaning and I'm replacing the motor. Looks like it didn't need to be lifted so high to get that tank out, despite a pain to get out. In this case, it needed a good cleaning, but with mine what I thought was a lot of leaves & things really wasn't the case, and was below the gas intake. Not sure the fuel filter wouldn't have caught the rest. On my L120, that gas line tube attached to the tank seems one piece and there is no way I"m messing with that thing.

I think you would have the same problem, you can't hold a wrench on the flats unless you use washers, and you can't put the washers on without removing...

Went back and looked at the footage from the first time we split the tractor and one bolt had already fallen out of the "R137609: Guide." Also: want to point out Jebedeezer noticed the guide and sleeve had been egged out and needed replacing. I thought they were fine at first...

So I'm way late to this game. But I'm having a problem of the F5 fuse blowing when running the rear PTO when I'm not in 4 wheel drive. If I'm in 4 wheel drive the fuse never blows. So I think is the coil on the MFWD solenoid. But I don't have any parts diagram to be able to order the part. Can anyone tell me the part number for the that solenoid coil? Thanks.
@TheFritz423
@TheFritz423 3 ай бұрын
If I remember correctly the mfwd and pto solenoids are identical. I might try switching them and see what happens…
@jakejoeep23
@jakejoeep23 3 ай бұрын
@@TheFritz423 Thank you. I got under it this afternoon and found that I can't even get the nut off the top of the MFWD coil because a solid steel part of the transmission is sticking out right above the MFWD solenoid. Do I have to drain transmission fluid to just unbolt the diverter block off the transmission? If so I don't know where the drain plug is or even where the fill port would be. Both coils measured 11 ohms and the thing is, the fuse blows at random times while running the PTO and not in 4 wheel drive. Yes, those coils do look to be identical. Intermittent problems are so much fun.
@TheFritz423

@@jakejoeep23 You do have to remove the block and drain the fluid. Good luck.
