Its clutchless shifting and its been aroung for 50 years

It amounts to no more shifting gears, so the experience is gearless

There's still a difference between automatic shifting and CVT... Automatic shifting is pretty new for motorcycles... AFAIK..

Clutchless up and down.... I been doing so for years. But... DCT stands for Double Clutch Transmission... so what do you mean "clutchless" ? 🤷🏼♂️🤔

There is no clutch manipulation anymore, so if you start out on such a bike, you effectively have ridden clutchless as long as you own that bike

@@Motorcycle.journeysYT Semantics.... There's still a clutch, whether you manipulate it or not. I ride a normal bike without actually using the clutch much at all. Only for 1st gear. Everything else throttle control only.

The only point you made here that makes sense is that manufacturers want to pump into the bikes as much tech as possible to justify the increasing price point. It's pathetic, no user actually ever asked for this!

There must be a market for it, just shoving it down our collective throats just doesn't add up. As I said on a touring bike, or a commuter, it makes perfect sense.
