Do these clutches stand vs. pike teeth? Like material, the bait is made of, does not crush to small pieces on each and every bit?

Are you just chunkin and winding most the time or is all your action coming from the reel? I wanna get into the big baits a little but don’t know where to start with gaining some confidence in it thinkin about pickin one of these ogs up

Would catch better fishing down the bank instead of at the bank like a Jig. I don't have any Clutch glides but I have Dozens of glides. From NW Arkansas, partial to Chad shads , 86's and Drts.
