Hey, I'm new to the channel. I came to minimalism a few years back. I had two babies, 18 months apart, and I struggled with a thyrid problem. I was so overwhelmed, and I would get so angry so quickly about all the things I had to take care of. Thank you for sharing this with us. ❤❤❤

Hi 👋🏼 so happy you’re here! I’m thankful you found minimalism, and my channel. Letting go of what doesn’t serve us definitely shortens our to do list. That’s one reason I keep at it. I couldn’t stand feeling displaced in my own space. So glad you liked the video. 🤍

Just found you through your kitchen utensils video, and i so appreciated seeing in detail everything you have in your drawers! I've been slowly minimizing for years, but its definitely gotten harder the more kids we've had. Not because babies and kids need a lot of stuff but because there's just more humans in the house! 😅 My fourth baby just turned 1, and there are so manh things I forget that people use for babies lol😂 we've never owned sippy cups, just the same glass bottles you mentioned, and I transitioned them striaght to cups. I have 1 shot glass my 12 month old can use for a small amount of water, and if she needs more than that, she can use a bottle. I stopped pureeing baby food when my oldest was very young and we switched to "baby led weaning" (i think thats what its called🤔) just giving her the soft and edible things shes able to eat with her zero teeth 😂. We also dont have any baby dishes. I have kids sozed stainless steel cutlery and dishes, but for the baby I just put the food straight on her highchair tray. One less thing to get thrown on the floor. 😅

@@Reeder.Rabbit Hi! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! I can imagine it getting harder with more kids. When I transitioned from 0-1 my kitchen was pretty minimal already, but I had to go further to make sure I cleared room for her to have her own drawer while I was pregnant. It gave me some peace of mind that I could do this with more kids down the road and they could all share that drawer. I love that you’re so intentional with what you keep for your kiddos! Growing family and changing seasons of life is just one reason why decluttering is more of a mindset shift first and foremost, because things will need to be adjusted here and there over time to accommodate us where we are. 🤍

Cool video. I need to catch up on a few of the older ones. My wife and I are working towards doing more prep and kitchen organizing.

I dont have any children but yet am watching this video 😅. Im curious if you can use the dishwasher to sanitize bottles? I do remember growing up and seeing my mom boil bottles, but we also didnt have a dishwasher.

@@Diasatia Hi! I completely get it.. before I had kids, I still LOVED watching this type of content 🤍 you can use a dishwasher to sanitize bottles if it has a high heat and sanitize setting. However because I have a small amount of bottles in rotation, I couldn’t wait for the dishwasher to fill up to clean them. Plus my dishwasher takes forever and a day to finish a cycle. Boiling is so much easier for me. ☺️

How is mixing your hot cocoa with water instead of milk?
@This_Capsule_Kitchen3 күн бұрын
@@dorothycassaro4152 It can be used with water or milk. It’s just like regular hot cocoa mix in that way. 🤍
