Celtic were extremely lucky to avoid an absolute trouncing in this game. Could have been 4 or 5 from Clyde. First goal should have counted of course, and Du Wei should have been sent off for the penalty.

The Celtic centre half Virgo later changed his name to Van Dijk so this game wouldn’t come up in any Agent searches. Clyde should have had 5 that afternoon. Clyde marched on and the rest is history.
