@@JosephDecosimo Sounds great! I never suck it up and play it out of standard like Clyde did ...

I definitely hear that one in Alberta jams, I'll pass along your videos!

Great. It's a fantastic tune. This is just my nerdy take on it...

I can't speak for the bowing, but the way it sounds to me is 98% how I've heard it played. (speaking as someone who doesn't play it yet)

What a great help you are here, and this is one of those great tunes that make you glad to be a fiddle player; so fun to play. As far as the name, I wonder what the original was exactly, if there was one - "to" or "from" would depend on whether you're coming or going? Thanks so much

this tune was mentioned at the old time jam at Dee's I think, this week. they said it was played at every jam for a while, haha

Cool. It’s played at lots of jams. Glad you found it!

Ooh nice. Maybe it's time I relearn myself this one.

I wonder if fiddling is really just the practice of relearning tunes you thought you knew how to play every few years. That's pretty much what it feels like a lot of the time, and it's weirdly satisfying.

Me too. I hosed it for years, but I've crawled a bit closer... It's a bear.

your E string sounds like a harmonica that is a fiddler for sure playing on a fiddle not a violinist playing a violin
