@@TheNBAGoat It's called being a Man. You would do the same too so don't lie. As for the 1992 finals, Clyde had a late season injury and decided to hold off knee surgery until the late summer because Portland was the top seed in the west and the olympics was around the corner. According to Trailblazers owner Paul Allen, Clyde also had a previous arthioscopic surgery on his leg prior to the start of 1992 season and that affected his movement.

With all due respect😎, I could tell that you’re not a person that actually watched Clyde the glide play basketball…. For you to say that man had a low IQ is a gross insult to his legacy as a ball player. He was the first shooting guard to average eight assist a game. His total of career assist is 6,125 SG . He may arguably have the most assists out of all shooting guards. The only person that would be considered ahead of him in shooting guards with assist would be James Harden. And James Harden should be taken out of the conversation because he’s been playing point guard for quite a while now. Not to mention Clyde the glide was not a high turn over Ball handler . How could a man with a low IQ take his team to the NBA finals two out of three years as the franchise player with the NO OTHER future Hall of Fame on his team? Not to mention, he made it to the NBA finals as a franchise player at the shooting guard position before Air Jordan. 🧐

MJ vs Drexler head to head (Regular Season only) 34.4 7.1 6.1 2.7 0.8 47.9% 23.5 6.4 5.7 2.4 0.6 48.9% I think Drexler only counted regular season field goal percentage.🤣 In the '92 Finals, Chicago and Portland had a roughly 10-point team scoring differential, with the difference coming from Jordan and Drexler. In addition, Jordan and Drexler were matched up in every game of the 1992 Olympic Team Blue vs Team White, and the downward spiral of Drexler's career began sooner than expected, as he lost confidence after that matchup. Of course, Drexler was a great player and won a championship in Houston as a 2nd-option supporting Hakeem, but it's disappointed considering that he reached the Finals as a 1st-option 2 times just a few year ago.

I think you have stretched the point vastly, firstly this was ages ago before the Last Dance, what he said was I could compete with anybody, that's true. Was he better than Mike individually - No. As a player did he accomplish more than Mike, No, Was he a Shooting Guard, No he was a Small Forward and Shooting Guard so he wasn't a direct match up. Try to be unbiased with what you are saying it makes for a more balanced viewpoint. And if you take more shots you will score more points and you should have a higher percentage as you are taking more shots therefore you are practicing more from a purely technical perspective.

To me they are equally talented. Clyde dragged a finals team while Jordan was getting knocked out the first round in the 80s. People forget Clyde was supposed to have prime Sabonis with him for those Finals but the Soviets f'ed that up. Jordan showed up with Pippen and all Clyde had was Jerome Kersey xD.

He played in Spain... Thats not anyones fault. What Drexler had is what he had. Why are you forgetting Terry Porter ? He had an 18 ppg average... Blazers had 6 players average double digits, Bulls only 4 players... Blazers were much more even than Chocago, Michael just averaged 35.9 against them in Finals while shooting 52% to Drexlers 24.9 and 41% shooting. Drex nowhere near MJ, he just didnt show up like MJ did...

@@TheNBAGoat Should've been playing for Portland. They did draft him but the soviets put a stop to that and the NBA missed a top 10 Center. Portland gained another chapter in its legendary bad luck run. Between that and Len's death it really opened up the early 90s. Ah yes, the HoF/Allstar Terry Porter and all of his 6'3 prowess. We seriously comparing 18/3/5/0/1 to Scottie who put up 20/8/6/1/2, ran the offense and was the best perimeter defender in basketball? We really comparing two mvp caliber players, two top 50 players all time to Clyde and Terry Porter? The Pippen disrespect really knows no bounds. Dude totalled more rebs, assts, blks and stls than MJ in the 6 finals they played together and he gets compared to Terry "Sweetness" Porter.
