Most people probably don't want to hear this, but Punk wasn't the draw that his fans like to claim he is. Even with the many title runs, his feuds & matches drew the lowest viewership leading up to the PPV's. It's why everyone else main evented over him. Some PPV's that he did main event did worse than previous years or were outdrawn the next year. The main difference maker in that period of his 434 day title reign were said part timers he complained about in his promo. The 3 Wrestlemania's Rock was a part of during 2011 to 2013, ended up with more than 1 million buys. That wouldn't have happened if Rock hadn't come back.
