Just wanted to check, in question number 18 direct labor variance is above $1,000 and in question it is mention that we need to investigate variance above 1K OR 10% of budget, since it is satisfying 1 condition, why we haven't considered option D i.e. investigate both variances?

Dear Sir, I've confused about Question 13, the calculation as I know is: LRV (Labor rate variance) = (AP-SP)*AQ and Labor Efficiency Variance = (AQ-SQ)*SP, so the result of question 13 is C. But your answer is D. Due to your calculation is LRV = (SP-AP)*AQ. Hence, please help to explain more if your calculation is correct? Thanks Sir a lot
