Thank you for this great video. I have a question, I noticed you based your duration estimation (4 months) only on the study time, what about the time needed to solve problems and exercise as a practice for each topic. How much time should it take for each CMA part?

Hi Yousra! During the 4 months of study of each part, the time you need to solve problems and do practice exercises is included, so you will not need additional time for this unless you want to study beyond 4 months per part.

Sudhir, it'll be too hard to study for the exam without an accounting/finance background. My suggestion is to enroll in accounting classes at a local college or take online accounting classes before enrolling in a CMA review program.

Hi Sonia, you can take your CMA exams prior to meeting all certification requirements. The IMA allows for up to 7 years after passing the exams to fulfill all requirements including work experience.

First, learn the fundamentals of accounting by taking online courses or enrolling in your local college. You'll need this foundation before attempting the CMA exam. Hi Teja, many professionals make a career change into accounting by earning their CMA. The catch though is that you'll want to take accounting classes first before studying for the CMA exams. Without an accounting knowledge foundation, it'll be too difficult to pass the CMA exams.
