I think I remember reading about why they didn’t include Coucho in the actuel show despite that it was only in a magazine. It’s because it would’ve been very hard to animate. However, people like you and Daniel Slade seem to do it pretty well.

That’s because back in the early 90s, CGI was kinda new, so what would’ve been easier to animate today (Coucho, for example) would’ve been harder to animate back then.

Even as an agnostic, I really appreciate that you circle around to the source material once in a while. I grew up in a Christian household, and VeggieTales was my introduction to the faith. Later in life, I decided that it wasn't for me, but I have fond memories of seeing stories from the Bible retold by the colorful cast. It's really cool to watch somebody from outside the original studio crew make something that honestly seems like it would belong in the show.
