This video shows you how to remove and install the inside door panels for the 2003 to 2006 Chevrolet SSR pickup.

On the reinstall of the door panel you could just thread some vacuum tube onto the door lock rod and then drop the door panel in place. In my case my exterior door handle would not open the door but the interior would open easily. The rod from the outside door handle to the door latch just needs to be lengthened. You can turn the rod (counter clockwise) in the door if you remove the door lock clip to get it out of the way so you can turn it. CC.

I just bought a 2003 SSR. It only came with one key fob. Do you know how to program new fobs for the SSR?

The programming of FOBs for the SSR requires a scan tool (like a GM Tech 2 or many other third party scan tools) that can invoke the FOB programming routine. The rear speakers are mounted in the amplifier box behind the seats. You'll have to pull back/down the carpet covering the speakers to access the screws that hold the speakers in the amplifier box. To get the carpet out of the way you'll need to remove the "upper garnish" (body color plastic piece at the top of the center console that runs to both sides. You can lift up to release the metal clips (careful the metal clips don't drop and get lost). Next, you'll need to remove the "body lock pillar trim" (black plastic trim by the door behind the seats). The door sill plates also need to come out to release the "body lock pillar trim". You should be able to pull up on the plastic sill plate covers and the metal clips that hold them in place should disengage. Next, remove the plastic caps in the seat back cushion bumpers (carpeted bars at the upper end of the rear seat mounted to the rear of the cab over the carpet). Remove the two nuts and remove the bumpers. With all of those items removed, you should now be able to roll the carpet forward/down to gain access to the speakers. The speaker grills are actually mounted in/on the carpet. Remove the four bolts/screws that hold the speakers in place. The installation of the speakers is the reverse of the removal steps.

I'm assuming you mean the door won't open when you use the outside or inside handles? If it's the driver side door, use the key in the lock assembly or (either front door) pull up on the interior door lock knob to make sure the door latch assembly is truly unlocked. If the door latch is locked it will ignore the handles when attempting to open the door. If that's not successful, you will likely need to remove the interior door panel with the door in the closed position. I've never attempted that with the door closed, but it seems like it might be possible to accomplish with the door closed.
