Always cool to see a slugfest in BS, always a fight on a knife-edge however in it. A single turn can turn the entire battle with how utterly lethal everything on the battlefield is, understandable going for the edge in firepower with the 155 howitzers but i really love the 120 mortars, iirc they have a 4-5 minute call in with an FO even without TRPs, i always bring one along as a rapid fire support choice for when something needs blown up and needs it now.

I like the 120 mortars. Here though, I'm planning to fight using my TRPs- that takes the 155mm call in down to about 3 minutes, so... responsive and nastier. You are making me wonder how many 120mm batteries/teams I could bring for the cost of one 155mm battery though...

Ha! I've played this map ME UKR vs Rus, no air or drones. I was UKR coming from AjarmanG's side. I think I mostly lay back with hulldown tanks and such and picked off most of the enemy assets, plus a cross fire from BMPs (?) in the major town across the bridge and surrounds. Interesting to see how you went. But I didn't have to face off against Javelins......

I am glad I just happened to stumble upon the Stryker Battalion video first. This should be a great series to watch. I love playing CMBS and have been thinking about going all in on the new CMSF 2 that is releasing soon enough, but that $120 price tag is a bit steep. I wonder if it’s worth it?

Its been out for a few years, but very niche- not on Steam or anything like that. The website is here: www.battlefront.com/ The games themselves are pretty pricey, but they all have free demos you can download and try out.

I have to spend points on any air support to have it available- given that its so expensive and that I'd have to jump through hoops (like neutralising any AA) before I could use it effectively (and that something like an F15 only carries 4 bombs) I'm gonna get more mileage out of bringing ground troops.
