When set to Allies vs Enemy or something in menu yes. I have any enemy as red and allies as blue. Much easier to control if you change factions/ accounts alot.

That being said as i'm the only one who actually sees or even shoot's these people I usually say fuck it after the 30th one and let them blow up the sunderer because I am not playing the damn game to defend the sunderer for the owner while he constantly dies and respawn's failing to take the base.

Small detail, the engineers repair tool can deconstruct mines and c4 bricks with his alt fire. Pretty effective and silent when you just happen upon them, not so much it's in the heat of a battle though.

I totally agree with you on the spitfire turret. It draws fire AND lets you know when enemies are around. Engineer has always been my favorite class, thanks for sharing your loadouts. Mine are similar, with "point defense," "sunderer defense," and "set up on a point/prepare for enemy max crash." Your footage at the end of the video inspired me to change from carrying c4 to carrying tank mines in my point defense loadout though. Great video, thank you for making.

I would like to give a mention to survivalist implant. The shield recharge time reduction stacks with the engineer passive, meaning that your shields will recharge stupidly fast.

As someone who loves the Skyguard...I never thought about grabbing or certing tank mines...which I'm pretty far from. That's a great idea if I'm just being AA support against those...bloody...5 Liberators that suddenly show up...but usually I'm alone with no support...that's a great idea...'cause my only defense against a MagRider is forcing myself under them and laughing at their underbelly in Skyguad (which is hilarious to get a kill from.) Otherwise...I go infiltrator so if I bail, I can hopefully stealth and get away...and then pop the enemy's face when they get out to repair.

Great content as usual! I found that the engineer was definitely the most cert dependent class to become useful. Most classes aren't a huge difference between newbie levels and end-game, but Engi really needs some upgrades before it becomes a real pain in the butt for the other team.

Engineers are tide holders. In 2015 I had repaired 4-6 Vehicles including tanks at one time during battle in Indar as NC. We hold the outpost for 2 hours. Best support units in frontlines. Second to light assault as my main in PS2. Maybe I'll install back PS2 for 2020.

Also, Ammo packs do damage by the way. They do 5 Damage. Hand Grenades, Smokes, Flash & Concs also do 5 Dmg. If their health is low enough, you can kill them. Mostly I just use ammo-packs to blow up a galaxy. :D My squad basically took a Valk, we went and flew above an enemy gal and dropped 4 Ammo packs on one his wings, He promptly fell out of the sky.

Archer groups are absolutely hilarious. Literally no one anticipates them, literally no one plans for them. They're super effective, but most folk don't want to put the certs into the Archer as (by its lonesome) it is a very, very underwhelming weapon.

I can add. Guns are # of shots to kill someone, be just beyond min damage and its +1 shot, Spitty is that small % of HP beyond that 9-10m range. Another detail, +50 shield + ASC + Regen against high damage 3 headshot guns make them 4 headshots to kill you. TR/VS mainly not NC, where 143dmg guns bypass this with 4 headshots at 750rpm+. Also 4 second shield return is nice, HP regens when shield is being damaged. Go with Restoration Kits if you're daring and want to re-peek asap and that regeneration has the same affect as +50 shield as long as its running. (Re-peek twice in 10 seconds!) You can use AV turrets as cover when peeking a door or corner with a long corridor/wall on one side. Crouch for near instant cover behind it, a sideways placed AI turret also works this way. Commissioner 1taps mines inside 14m, AV mines are a cheaper C4 and people don't aim at them. Also, I prefer Assimilate with regeneration as the +50 shield/regeneration + shield could equal another hit from someone firing at you. Get good at placing mines inside your turret, just place it on top and get on the turret and aim it upwards. Works best on AV turret. This works with ALL mines if you do it right. Also, on that note you can use a turret to hide behind a corner when aiming over it, just get on it as soon as you take damage and you "teleport" out of the way. I can't tell you how many shotgunners/decimator spammers I beat with having a turret in front of me (turret is taller than the shield wall). Also, battle rifles with grenade launcher is 1hit on most infantry beyond 10m and is similar DPM as a rocket launcher against tanks.

Ocular Shield with Cybernetics seems pretty powerful as a roamer Engineer, especially when you're running a turret. You really become a powerful solo combatant in that sense.

Nice video whats the best way to get new implants when it comes to efficiency? One more thing: i think its better to run target focus instead of sweeper for tank driving as along as you drive smart on roads and keep an eye out. Smash q if you see it. This saves you an implant slot to actively assist the battle such as target focus so you can prioritise wounded targets. :)

Either are great options, a lot of people opt for the second because the crossbow plus explosive does tons of damage. Archer just has better range

Why don't you use the consumable barrier with your point hold loadout ? Is it because it dies, or you need to move it every now and then ? Or do the medkits just have better value than a spitfire ?

You know when I gathered most of the footage for this vid, the consumable barrier hadn't been around that long. Now I have both load-outs as options. One listed here, and one with two light barriers for point holds. I alternate between them.

Why do you never mention the Inquisitor as a secondary option? It's got great accuracy, good damage output, long effective range and a 30 round magazine, it seems like it would be the perfect scondary for a loadout with the Archer. Is there something i'm missing about the gun?

I have not spent time with the inquisitor since the round of pistol balancing. It used to be outclassed by the NS variants, but it may be a very viable side arm now.

I never see people using archer squads and i have no idea why. 12 people armed with archers and competant target leading can bring down an armed gal. Also i love playing the same pain-in-the-ass methods like what you did here.

i used the archer as my tanker weapon for few rounds then i stoped using it. wanna know why? i jump out to quickly repair my tank and in speed i forget to change to repair tool so i shoot the tank with archer and its gone. that feeling when u realized what u have done after.... precious :D
