Honestly, as a Connery player, the server merge would get me playing more than my now usual 1: swoop in 2: complete a mission or two 3: see that the server is dead 4: leave

Welcome back Cyrious. Always happy with making medics more relevant for a push. The tickets make medics far more meaningful in base capture and would encourage more medics into the mix. The ticket system is essentially what the battlefield games were doing and it's a tried and true system. The only inherent flaw I can think of is low pop fights will favor the attackers because they have waaaay more tickets than lives to spend them on. Anyway. I'm optimistic. This could finally address the balance issue with zergs and battle flow at the small scale. Planetside is able to get that amazing battle flow going naturally at times, but it usually requires higher pop with competent players and then some luck. I think if we can encourage or "seed" battles toward creating that battle flow, and prevent them from ending prematurely, were gonna have our golden goose.

Pretty much agree with all your points and concerns, especially with the numbers of points. Fights in Planetside almost always "reactive", meaning that first comes the attackers, flipping point and forcing defenders to *react* to protect the base (meaning there are almost never pro-active preparations to defend bases - only reaction after attack already initiated). In this case it means that fight will be olny for two points - B and C, since A is flipped initially in order for defenders to come and have fight in the first place. There should be more capture points for better flow and not-so-easily killed fights.

This is based on the exact framework of a game mode in Battlefield, at least Battlefield 3.

I feel like vehicle spam will still be an issue, aka defenders pull tanks to kill sundies, they deploy their own sundies to outlast the remaining infantry on points, attackers need to pull tanks and the game becomes all about the faction that pulls more tanks once again...

What happens if its a disconnected base? say red owns its, but gets cut off by blue on one side, and purple on the other? I can't help but notice with just 3 mid-high level players your tickets were disappearing FAST. This looks like possibly an INCREADABLY short fight if you include all the cats respawning and dying every 5 seconds.300 tickets well say 20 players (reasonable?) bit over 5 minutes for a mid sized fight?

Hi there, long time player here for both PC and console, this game has a ridiculous amount of potential. I really think they should make it much more difficult to actually push up to a defended point, with longer ranged points and spawns closer to points for defenders. But I think they need to implement a type of building system for non permanent structures such as a "hardlight battle rampart" with it costing a good amount of nanites or even as war assets. This way you can determine different ways to approach bases and be able to "dig in" without taking any actual ownership over spawns inside the base that logically belongs to the current occupancy. This also allows defenders to use these assets to fend off the same if the base is not equipped to defend from the angle in which it is being assaulted.

I don´t no if i see this as postiv or negativ. On one Hand new stuff is good to bring people back in, on the other hand this wil hardly work with the playerbase of today. In opinioin they should have invest in a rework of some Bases on all Kontinent to give as a new freshness or a whole indar rework.
