Sorry the video encoding is so terrible at the beginning - I've rendered and uploaded it multiple times, something with the KZbin encoder is causing it as it looks beautiful in the original file so nothing I can do about it for some reason. I even tried adjusting the lighting, etc. but can't get it to properly render it.

Was already wondering haha. Maybe if you post process the footage to be brighter overall. It seems to me the blacks are rendered into large chunks.

I've been visiting this moon for about 2 years now and with each update I go check and see if they've "fixed it" as you say as you're right, there are many great places that have been deemed "bugs" which have clearly needed "fixing". So far this has remained, let's hope it stays that way.

Well while you can use SC like this it's hard to control and you can't do it for longer than a few seconds, so having something fast where you can basically perma-boost is a ton of fun all around. I've been coming here for years and honestly only a few weeks ago learned this was possible.

Sadly no, you can't do that any longer as they "fixed" that. You used to be able to on Nervi 3 A, Mount Neverest, the highest known peak at 50 km. You could jump from there and never come down.

To me the SC thing is clearly a bug. But I like the recommendation for going somewhere spectacular.

In what way is it a bug? You're out of mass lock range and that's the only thing that keeps you from SC. Now glitching through the mountains clearly isn't as intended but other than that I don't see how it's a bug.
