I'm not really a fan of Baroness, but their guitar sound during some solid, with the effects on, octaves etc... Nice! Also, they rock! Speaking of the thing that the singer is talking about at around 15:00, of pedals being a crutch... Being a musician myself, albeit an amateur, I find pedals being a good creative tool. That in combination with changing up the tuning (drop the low E on E standard down to A or C makes me think differently, and using DADGAD makes me also write differently and more melodic. It's hard writing songs. This band even does an acoustic, which shows that the songwriting is at the forefront. Well done! One more thing: kudos to the mixing engineer! The bass guitar doesn't disappear in the mix, despite it being very much in the low frequency spectrum.
