@ConcussionLegacyFoundation THANK YOU! I NEED HOME HELP...Agencies don't understand everything I push through & finding a proper Neurologist & has been a nightmare! I had a wonderful MD, but he recently passed away. So, I'm back to square one. On top of my CTE/PCS, I was involved in 2 accidents in a week from a local transportation service and experienced 3 more concussions, & severely injuring my lower back... In the state of Michigan & the health care system is awful & uncaring. So have the services, like Dissability Network, DHS, & Adult Protective Services.

I agree with your sentiment with Michigan, about the lack of quality of state services and medical professionals who are up to date with current strides and information about TBI, and concussions. I'm a female with way more hits to the head and TBI, doctors are not helpful. UofM and IHA need to update their doctors knowledge with medical information from other medical institutions and not only from their information bubble of Ann Arbor. I have learned more from KZbin Doctors from more prestiges medical institutions than UofM. 🤕

@butterflyfields314 Thank You So Much For Your Kind Respone! I am glad that others see this severe dysfunction! Then they turn it back on the client/patient and place labels of "Deppression or PTSD" in order to cover up their lack of knowledge upon the subject and their laziness to further their education. It is a very harsh circle of frustration. These "doctors" took oaths & have no empathy whatsoever.

@@PPMAK777 You’re welcome, also depression and PTSD are secondary conditions from a TBI according to the symptoms lists. Why are the doctors in Michigan unaware of secondary health effects related to TBI? It’s so baffling to me 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤯🤕
