I got at least 5k rounds through my gen 1, only broke a buffer retainer pin once, I use it hard and often and it’s been incredibly reliable. Mine is 40s&w ( keep your hate, it’s a great suppressed round), I have heard the 9mm gen 1s could be a little temperamental but it’s easily fixed.

Another problem is the ejector spring tends to go out quick. It is the same spring as the safety selector detent spring. Just worth noting.

I had similar issues with my ARV. I changed out the buffer tube and spring to standard AR15 weight and it’s flawless now.

I've got one. Lots of rounds thru it. An occasional malfunction. Prolly less than 1%. Broke the bolt at the can pin once, they sent me a new one. I dig it.

I can’t speak to the 9mm but I have a gen 2, 8 inch barrel in 300 blackout. Runs like Usain Bolt. Very happy

Well hopefully it keeps working for you. It seems like it could be a fun little PCC. I don't have any PCCs but I'd like to get one. I'd probably get one of the MKE MP5 clones just because it'd be cool to have an MP5. I don't think the MP5 is actually the best option on the market anymore but its still the coolest subgun.

Not gonna lie I was pretty bummed about the first review, but I completely understood. After switching buffer springs a couple months ago she performed amazing. Partially upset that I had to change the spring at all but this was a quick fix for me.

I hope you can get this running. I run direct blowback with Korean mags 500 to 2500 Rd a month (a guess, I buy that much for my other handguns as well.) direct blowback seems to be the way to go for 9mm and 45. My ar in .40 has had head case separation twice. The buffer never really changed the functionality of the ar9. It was the difference between the .40 being reliable and launching half a case as well as the mag into orbit. Defensive firearms should not be that finiky.

I have an 8” 9mm CMMG upper that I built using their barrel and bolt kit. The lock back has always been funky. It will only consistently lock back properly with 115gr suppressed using std carbine buffer/spring. 124 and up is fine unsuppressed, but kinda sucks about the 115.

FWIW for a 9mm PCC the PSA AK-V has been the most reliable and fun. I get it if you want AR controls and Glock mags. But both the gun (yes direct blowback) and mags are bullet proof on the AK-V. And the 35 round mags are only $17. I would argue it is also the fastest 9mm PCC out there too, faster semi-auto than MPX, MP5, Scorpion, Banshee, etc. Please keep up the videos and will use your link on next PSA order in support.

Kp9 has better mags though, and has a real rear trunnion.

Or buy a real import and get a wasrM lol glock mags. Quite literally never had a malfunction in mine also got it for less than $400(New) No bolt hold open tho.

I have a 9mm Banshee that I run suppressed with no issues so far. Mine uses the SMG style mags and I have heard that is the more reliable option but have no way of confirming it.

I shot 10k rounds through mine trying out different buffer weights, buffer springs, and ammo weights (115, 124, and 147). Eventually sent it in. They reamed the camber. Runs better with a h3 buffer or a vltor a5h2 buffer system. I would like to try the Maxim roller delayed buffer. Or I just might just sell it to someone who want to tinker.

It could have been stacking tolerances. Buffer tube in spec but min length and the buffer spring in spec but max length .

Glad to see it doing better, but ejection looks a bit erratic. If you are using decent ammo, I think you need to look at ejector, which may have been causing the cartridges to not eject from the receiver , causing your double feeds. Mine has been 100% through 3000rds. 115/124/147/150/158 gr 9MM, suppressed mostly with the middle weight carrier kit. hoping yours gets there too, they are soft shooting , accurate great guns,

I fully cleaned mine, & replaced the extractor spring, but I still kept getting the problems you mentioned in your previous video. I run mind suppressed only. So I tired installing their 2oz buffer weight, but that did nothing to help either 😢

Inspect the bolt. Might need new ejector / extractor spring

Most 9mm PCC's you need to tune by fucking w/ different buffer weights
@PnP-td1mt3 ай бұрын
Shouldn’t have to with a pre built rifle that costs what his CMMG costs
@pewpewbbqs3 ай бұрын
@@PnP-td1mt I agree but it's still true. You can have two of the exact same 9mm pccs and need to tune them different in my experience
@PnP-td1mt3 ай бұрын
@@pewpewbbqs no you shouldn’t. If that is true then the manufacturer of said rifle needs to re visit their machining tolerances and quality control. “Playing” or “tuning” these your self with little to no mechanical knowledge could result in an out of battery detonation which is pretty violent in a blow back gun..

@@PnP-td1mtthe CMMG banshee isn’t direct blowback, it’s radial delayed.
@PnP-td1mt2 ай бұрын
@@radjamss6390 I know. I was responding to the above comment of “having to tune 9mm pccs”. Pre made radial delayed gon should definitely NOT need tuning. It needing more mass in the buffer tells me something is definitely wrong with it,
