@@Migoladon Because tracers are rounds that are hot as hell. They are usually some sort of magnesium mixture that rapidly burns in the air when shot with a bullet. So it's a bit of added heat in the shooting process and since heat is the primary reason most good guns will wear down and fail this is sort of an added challenge.

Why does everyone think that the WASR is American made? It's a Romanian made, mostly mil-spec, AK. All Century Arms does is import it and make it 922r compliant, but that doesn't mean the whole gun is American. It's without a doubt a Romanian made firearm. Is it as high quality as a Russian AK? No. But it's still a good AK, and way better than any truly 100% American made AK (i.e. C39). Sorry to butt in, but I can't understand why everyone calls WASRs American made.

+Lapinmiez I did say mostly mil-spec, but honestly that might be a bit of an exaggeration haha. But that wasn't really the point that I was trying to make anyways. Plus, most AKs on the market today aren't 100% mil-spec either.

***** The WASR is a piece of junk, the test wasn't exactly fair on the AK as a whole. If they had a genuine AKM or AK-74, it'd be fair. A license-built shitty clone isn't exactly up to snuff like the real deal.

@13R^D Basically, when it comes to hand guns, get a Beretta M9 (92fs & M9A3 as well), good-high quality 1911 (in .45 acp), Glock (pick your poison, they have many flavors), or a revolver (particularly Smith & Wesson or an old Colt). That said, I would also suggest taking a look at the hand guns made by CZ, FN, and EAA Tangfoglio. You can't go wrong with either of those companies.
@alexferrara9287
@alexferrara9287 5 жыл бұрын
@13R^D Ay, I getcha. We're all entitled to our own opinion's brother. I was just adding on to what was already stated. The companies/hand gun models I listed, though I was pretty vague, are among the best options (if not the best) when choosing a hand gun. Can I ask why you have such a distaste for 1911's? And I'm not sure why you would label CZ a cliche, as they make some of the most reliable hand guns/rifles out there. Not to mention, their pricing is unbelieveable for the quality you get. I mean, their "Bren" series of assault rifles (805 Bren, Bren 2, and every different size/caliber variant of each) are among the best combat rifles made, period. Even though it looks like an exact copy of the FN SCAR, the build quality of the Bren unquestionably exceeds the FN master piece. Though, the performance of the two rifles are neck and neck. But if we're completely honest, a majority of people would agree that the Bren 2 is overall, a superior rifle to the FN SCAR (L & H). And I LOVE FN! Hence why I mentioned FN in my original post. In terms of hand guns, I prefer FN's variety but, there are a couple CZ's that are just as good. Glocks are reliable as all hell and are a perfect choice for a beginner or pro but, I prefer a Beretta M9, 92 fs, or M9A3 over any Glock. I have bigger hands and have never felt that they were too heavy for any situation in comparison to a Glock. I will say, one specific gun not mentioned enough is the Hudson H9 9mm. Pretty light weight in my opinion and shoots phenomenal.

Word to the wise, it's generally NOT good practice to wet gloves and pot holders before handling hot objects. If the object is hot enough, it can cause the water in the glove or pot holder to boil and steam directly on your hand, which will burn you more rapidly (and worse) than if the glove were dry.

This video helped me make my decision, for my first gun I bought the Glock 17, shot it a few different times and love it. Now I'm looking for something in a 22, man bullets are expensive...

I like the way a Glock looks too. The important when buying a firearm is what YOU want , not what other people say you should get, it seems you already know that, but for general purposes.

I bought a glock 26 gen 4 with the flat dark earth finish for my daily conceal carry and it was by far the most attractive gun I saw while shopping around. It was deceptively comfortable to shoot for a guy with bigger hands as well. 9mm isn't too badly price for shooting at the range. I just buy the dogshit, bottom shelf walmart ammo and have never had a problem running it through it. I'm a big believer in training with the weapon you intend on using if, god forbid, you have to use it in a self defense situation.

Lol replacing the plastic guide rod with a metal one reminded me of when i was into RC cars. When the plastic parts broke, youd upgrade to aluminum so they wouldnt break again

+Austin Myers think you mean warped barrel and they knew what they were doing this is i think their 3rd meltdown video where they just torture the firearm at the cyclic rate of fire till the firearm fails. the second AK video is a must watch. But this type of shooting only happens on purpose for "testing" purposes. In the Military when SHTF you have FPF (final protective fire) where belt feed machine guns put up a "wall of lead" to cut everything down but they also can change barrels.

Also hoping I can see a 1911. Maybe like a base model R-1 or Springer mil spec. Not some target pistol, but something that was sorta made for actual use.

heliarche 1911 is not made for full auto and shooting semi auto until it breaks is almost impossible.

IV8888 is getting weapons modified to go full auto, far as I know. I've seen a vid on a full auto 1911 as well. I think something with the disconnector is modified. Anyhow it ought to be possible but it would get hotter than hell!
@Fabianwew
@Fabianwew 8 жыл бұрын
heliarche It might be possible but it's very rarely used while glock are used full auto with carbine stocks.

So a full auto glock is a thing that's regularly made? I often wonder how he gets them past the 1986 thing.
@Fabianwew
@Fabianwew 8 жыл бұрын
heliarche Yes, there are factory made glocks with full auto. This model is a glock 17 with a full auto kit but the glock 18 is standard full auto.

a z in America it’s as easy as going to ur gun store ( have to be 21 ) filling out paperwork and running a background check on you to make sure you’re not a felon and after that bam ur good to go , unless ur a felon then he tells u to gtfo , also in Australia ( I’m genuinely curious ) you mentioned it has to be locked up and mags have to be stored separately , do officers come out to where you live and check? Cause if they do that’s a yikes from me
