I have a question, If my husband passes away, and I'm not on the title of the house or the loan, would the title and loan still remain under his name?

My mother, who lives in Bellingham, Washington, has assigned me (her son) to be the executor of her will. I live in California and do plan on getting some legal help at some point, but I would like to learn a lot more about the process. I have been watching some of your videos, but would like to buy a book which describes the probate process in Washington. Can you recommend one?
