+SpacedOutVision Regg Good Luck on your test tomorrow. You already know what to expect since you've have been there already. The nervousness is always going to be there..its a natural emotion but you know what you need to focus on. Just remember to make that 1st good impression with your opening procedure..do the skill, do your ending...then make any correction you need to when given the opportunity at the end.

SacMed, your training videos are very informative and more practical than the others. I even appreciate the use of the four folded wash cloth as compared to the mitt. One of my observation is the washing of the hands, arms and shoulders. What I know is that it must be done on the farthest arm, to avoid spills when you do the nearer arm. Please correct me, thank you. But is the four folded wash cloth accepted by the American Red Cross? Thank you.

hello, I would like to know if I can do this exercises for Florida State.
@sacmedtrainingvideotutoria64089 жыл бұрын
+Esperanza Hi Esperanza. Honestly, I'm not quite sure because each State has their own curriculum and rules for certification. The best advice I can give you if you choose to utilize these videos is study your notes from you program along with the video and account for the differences. Im not quite sure if your test provider is the same as in California which is the American Red Cross but the American Red Cross gives out a study guide to students who are testing. If your test provider gives out a study guide you can read that and follow along with the videos so you can make sure everything is covered.

I want to take the time to thank you so much for producing these videos. If it had not been for your demos, I know I would not have passed. The class I was in all watched you as you performed these skills. Unfortunately for some, they didn't find them until after their first attempt at the state exam. I was one of those. I didn't pass the first time. Although the school I attended did practice some, it wasn't enough for me to feel comfortable going forward. But I re-took the exam again on June 9, 2016 and passed. I concentrated on all the scenarios, but the ones I really wanted to master was bedpan, peri care, bed bath, and unconscious resident. One of the skills I got was bed pan, and because of your video, I aced it. Please continue to do your good work. You are appreciated. Thank you,Rhonda
@abondoc55718 жыл бұрын
hi rhonda. how many skills sid you perform on your exam?and who will decide for it? thanks.
@r.servin16718 жыл бұрын
Hello A. Bondoc. I had three skills. They were weight, bed pan, and transferring resident from bed to chair using a gait belt. The way it works is you will go into the testing area. When your name is called, you and your partner will go to the first station. There will be about 6 cards on a small table. They are face down. You are to pick a card, turn it over and read it aloud. After a few instructions by the evaluator, you will begin your skill.When is your exam? PS. It helped my nerves to call it a procedure rather an exam. Good LuckRhonda

hi rhonda, im still currently studying cna but already reviewing these skills. I need to prepare as early as possible because I dont speak that good in english bec ive been here in us for 3 weeks now. thanks for your reply. apprciated alot!
@r.servin16718 жыл бұрын
I don't know where you're testing, but even if you try to communicate with your partner while doing the skill, that will count in your favor. Not everyone you will be taking care of will speak English. The State knows this and welcomes those who can speak more than one language. Go in, do your skills, and communicate while doing so. You'll be fine.
