The best and most longest lasting learning experience is the stuff that you do wrong. Always had horses and stock cows here in Iowa. Never had to learn how to rope though. I think I am going to follow along with this and try to do this on one of my horses. By the way. If you ever get the chance. Try Mounted Cowboy Shooting. It's a adrenaline rush. Barrel racing with 2 handguns.

You are so exactly right! As much as it sucks we learn best from mistakes. I appreciate you following along and stick around for more roping content this summer 😊 I already find team roping and barrel racing to be addicting… I’m sure I’d be hooked to mounted shooting 🤣

Are spurs necessary?
@cnahorses2 жыл бұрын
Hello! Spurs are not necessary... They are helpful for me especially because I am shorter. It gives me an extension to make contact with my horse. Horses are trained to move off of pressure and spurs allow me to give small pressure to my horse :) With all that being said I do recommend only experienced or comfortable riders using spurs because they can be used incorrectly and cause problems
