I was made aware that Sikhs were involved in Italian dairy farming and cheese production through other documentaries or shows. But this documentary sheds light at a much deeper level. As someone who grew up Hindu Punjabi in Delhi and then moved abroad in my teens, I have deep respect for the Sikhs portrayed in this show, but even more so the Sikh diaspora all over the world. I think the Sikh engineer involved in Civil Defense is so perfect for the role he is in. The Sikh Dharma is in a way almost perfectly created for such a role in our global society. The hard work, the adaptiveness, the enterprising spirit, the ability to make friends in foreign lands, these are fantastic qualities of the Sikhs, especially the community portrayed in this episode. In an era of rising anti immigrant sentiment, it is so wonderful to see the integration this community has achieved and the impact they have made. There was already so much to love and admire about Italy, and this certainly takes my admiration to another level. What an inspiration - thanks CNA for your wonderful work. Also loved the episode showing the Chinese community in Calcutta, I really hope they succeed in their quest to stay there.

It's subjective. Be it whatever the language is. When it comes to Karnataka, people think Bangalore guys speak authentic Kannada whereas it's not. The undeveloped areas of Karnataka speak authentic Kannada which is not mixed with Sanskrit. Whenever there's roughness in any language most of the time that's the authentic one.

What an interesting video. I had no idea there was a Punjabi colony in Italy though it doesn't surprise me as they're true experts in the dairy product realms. The tastiest yogurt and milk I've ever had was when visiting Amritsar as a child. Yogurt so creamy and firm that you'd to cut it with a knife. Milk came from all those beautiful 'mujan' (water buffalos) who lived across from the the halwaii shop. You can't get any closer to the natural way than that.

As a fellow Indian, I am glad that Punjabis and Sikhs have found home away from home. They are probably hardest working community from India.
