I think a majority of Chinese drivers is racist against Indians. On time, I was doing Grab share, the person that was supposed to share the ride with me is an Indian. The driver just ignored the booking based on the persons Indian sounding name. I feel really bad for the guy who is probably waiting forever having the carb driving further and further.

Its not just drivers, simple the majority of them are. Just look at the HDB situation, coffee shops, shopping centres. Start taking videos (hidden body cam) of Chinese who deliberately cough at you when they approach towards you, near you from the side, or behind you, spewing racist terms. It will even happen to couples minding their own business at the coffee shop. Dont be surprised if another riot occurs somwhere. Chinese will be racist to all, for sure. No need to wonder about it. If you are dark skinned and live and move around on your own start wearing a hidden body cam. You will never know when your compilation helps put repeat offenders in their place. It will make one hell of a documentary when the time comes. If you see it happening to others like you document it as well. Those of you who understand this, you will agree when I say it happens at least 3-4 times when you step outside just to run errands. Document the behaviours and start a youtube channel when you are ready. There are so many illbehaved and illiterate shop keepers, shop assistants, table cleaners, drinks counter aunties, department store staff... ect.

Quite astonished to find out so much more about Crave. Especially so since I literally just ate the Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak this morning, cooked by Dr Abdul himself as it were. (Note: I'm certain of this because my sister said, "oh the super nice young man is there today".) I really like his line of thinking and I'm glad I got to know more about the dish and its origins. Quite frankly, the OG Adam Road Nasi Lemak is probably one of the best, if not the best in Singapore. I'm a little bit disheartened by the words of Ms Mohanbabu that Indians are on the lower end of the race tier. Hopefully there won't be such a thing in the future. All in all, interesting video. I'm really quite enjoying this series and kinda glad that more of these videos are being made these days in Singapore.
I'm from Malaysia and I always thought that Singapore have moved beyond race and racism only happens in Malaysia. This series is an eye opener. From this series I gather Singapore is moving uphill towards racial harmony while in Malaysia we're going downhill towards discord. I sure hope that in 10, 20 years time we can all identify ourselves as Malaysians or Singaporeans and not CMIO.

I usually only spend a night or two in Singapore as a long layover, but recently got back from a 9-day vacation there. I definitely discovered more racism on this trip, which is kind of sad. Most of it is directed toward darker-skinned people who are expected to accept less favorable treatment to that of Chinese and whites. I had to scold one Singaporean at Universal Studios for allowing whites and Chinese to take photos of family on the rides while enforcing the "no photo rule" against darker skinned patrons. I was pretty loud (ONE RULE FOR EVERYONE!!!) so he was definitely embarrassed. Although racism in Singapore is not universal and there were some incredibly kind Singaporeans that we met, the backward, second-class treatment was a bit of a shock for such an outwardly modern country. MUCH better treatment in Malaysia, which is right next door and a LOT cheaper.

Hey man, thanks for sharing, i realised that its about really the skin color, people in general do not want to be accosiated with someone with a darker tone. I've seen how Indians with lighter tone are treated. FYI i'm a consultant and noticed the lighter skin people regardless of race have something against the darker under tones. Sorry that we are born this way, but its sad that whatever we do we need to double up. If we open up, its called as a complain, if we don't we are not energetic enough or eager enough. Do u agree that some indian just attacking random tiktoker mentioned crime done by their race?? Its crime not racist. I saw one mad indian mam showing me his tablet photo of chinese army personnel group photo. He later keep shaking his head for no reason. Not sure why he show me when i'm just a passenger. Sitting next to him is not friend. Your youtube video seem like filming woman in office who complain about indian accent in "ministry of funny". Did the company allow filming. Suntec mall allow public to enter but not office

In western countries, this is called karma for the Chinese Singaporeans who still want to preserve their racist cultural teachings. I hope the Western people and Blacks, continues to put the Chinese racist people under pressure so that they will know how others feel in Singapore.

Indians could try in Dubai where racism is way less if they wanna stay in Asia . Life is good there if u earn good , work hard and are less religious.

You’ve never been here in Singapore right? And you are looking at it from the view of a migrant worker and not a citizen of the country. It’s not about earning money and so forth. We’ve passed that stage, thanks.

People used to look up to India in the ancient times. Foreigners used to study in Nalanda university. I remember ancient Chinese called India “civilized” and “center of knowledge”. Scientists and mathematicians of the islamic golden age admired our work. Greeks and Romans also used to look up to us. Good old times. Anglo-Saxons and other Westerners are the reason that South Asians face discrimination worldwide. They ruined our image by portraying us as animal f*ckers, street sh*tters, unhygienic (India needs to work on hygiene, I admit, but man often it is over exaggerated), savages, r*pists, etc. West butchered our reputation.

Same like the PRC Chinese and Singaporean Chinese. Almost 90% of Singaporean Chinese people hated PRC Chinese because of their rude and uncultured behavior.

Dave Parkash is not even a pure Singapore Indian , he's most probably a immigrant from India or maybe his parents are. The indians who came in to Singapore on British Era were predominantly South Indians specifically the Tamils.

Most people in Singapore are migrants or 2nd or 3rd generation immigrants. So what's your point? You have more rights to Singapore because your forefathers came out before Dave's?? LOL.

The Indian Sindhi community has been in Singapore since the 1800s Lmao. There are tons of literature on this. They were a business community whom expanded globally voraciously. As such, Sindhis have roots in the Straits since eons. You’re so ignorant. He comes from a 3rd/4th generation family.

Great food places👍 With food/makan being most SGeans' main form of entertainment, it is indeed a powerful way to gel and remind us all, that the awesome food scene we have wouldn't be possible without all the different culture all of us bring to the table. Leave the differences away from the table everyone.
It's request for indian men to liberalise their own women so that u won't feel fascinating towards modern women. When would u stop playing cultural and sanskari dhong bhahu when u yourself prefer it last and wear shirt and trousers at most times.
