Americans are usually very ignorant about the outside world. When I closed my account with Merril Lynch US, I received a letter with a cheque for the balance in my account addressed Singapore, Japan! The irony here is Merril Lynch has an office in Singapore! China has been the largest automotive market in the world since 2009. Currently, its market size is larger than the combined markets of the US, Japan and Germany. China is the largest market for both BMW and Mercedes. 40% of Volkswagen revenue comes from China. China is now the largest EV market in the world accounting for nearly 45% of the total EVs or nearly 2.3 million units. Europe and the US are way behind with 1.2 million and 1.1 million units respectively, www.virta.global/global-electric-vehicle-market

According to the driving data released by Tesla, the vehicle was running at a speed of 118.5 km/h just before the accident and then stepped on the brakes. With the emergency braking system activated, the vehicle's speed was lowered to 48.5 km/h just before the crash. According to the driving data, a crash occurred almost immediately after applying the brakes. After the ABS brakes started functioning, the time it took to the first crash was 1.8 seconds. Other cars around the world are always experiencing problems and lawsuits, but have you ever seen them protest on top of cars at a motor show in any country? Have you ever seen security let the protesters shout for a while and then pull them down late? This can only happen in non-sense countries. This is a show planned by the CCP.

These companies should have went on to promote their stocks in the financial media promising how great their companies are going to be instead of actually doing it. Look how Tesla became the richest car company yet sells little numbers of cars compared to other companies. Every car manufacturer needs a celebrity CEO who knows how to charm investors. That’s how money is made, through media promotions and popularity effects. Just come up with some crazy model car in the show that makes everyone salivate, asking when can you start buying the car. Then tell customers it isn’t going to be available until 3 or 4 years down the road. That way you don’t have to make any cars and the stocks just keeps going up with investors anticipating the company will do great once they actually deliver their promises. That trick really got tesla rich and everyone else will follow their examples.

Stocks fell in early trade Thursday, putting the market on track for a third straight decline. A positive Q4 GDP revision and a surprise drop in weekly jobless claims data had little impact. Darden Restaurants and RH rallied on earnings news. A price target hike hoisted Cisco Systems in a buy range, while Nike fell to the bottom of the Dow Jones today. The Dow industrials dipped 220 points, then parted its loss to 0.5%. The S&P 500 shed 0.35%, while the Nasdaq Composite trimmed its opening decline to 0.3% on the stock market today.
