Drone AND counter drone technology is evolving very quickly which stresses the capacity of a nations defense industrial base and Government procurement system to react much faster than current governmental procurement regulations and industry manufacturing allow. That’s the lesson taught by the Ukraine War. The current US DFAR (regulations) requiring competitive procurement is complex and very slow.
