I was one of the first users of BluSmart. Advanced booking, preferably 12 hours prior to the scheduled journey, the vehicle would arrive 30 minutes beforehand, wait for the passenger to board the car, and the rates were immensely reasonable. I travelled everyday from Green Park Extension to Kasturba Gandhi Marg at almost half the rate which I'd have had to pay if I Ubered or inDrive'd to the destination. Plus, the training recieved by the drivers is top notch! I've never once had a negative experience with BluSmart. First class service!

I've not used blu yet but the way you explained, I had similar experience with Meru cabs in 2009-10.

He sounded so genuine and authentic. Somebody who has done his homework and know what he is talking about unlike so many of the founders who just talk some goodie good jargonised stuff. Wish BluSmart all the very best. Really loved it !

Honestly.. just for their zero cancellation feature, I am more than happy to pay a surge premium in price. May be they’ll do it in the course of time. But their service quality is phenomenal.

Love this company and its founders. Very nice interview as well. It would have been great if she would have asked questions on what is the constrain on growth here, are they enough supply of EV cars for them? Which are the main bottlenecks they are facing?

I use BluSmart when I am in Delhi and Bangalore and it’s just amazing . Drivers are so polite and cars are super clean…It beats Uber and Ola hands down.. my only request to them is to expand aggressively …It’s badly required in Mumbai
@saikiran007 Жыл бұрын
Avg. trip price shall come down to near Rs. 250-300 range with more number of trips and makes it more affordable for the regular commuters.. with scale this is a revolution in the Indian taxi market.. Already Uber made a big purchase order of EVs.. They will be arriving soon by 2025 and Ola is one step ahead, planning to manufacture their own EV fleet.. This will be the future and BluSmart is leading and driving this change.. India needs more of these, ppl are fed up with traditional Ola and Uber taxis for all the reasons..

Every 5 out of 10 experience I had on Uber here in US was horrible. Cars were dirty and some drivers used to sleep in car as they didn’t had a couch to crash on

uber has outsourced customer service at the hands of its driver "partners". the objective of these partners is to optimise thier daily wage than customer experience. thats the problem with uber/ola model, they have been able to scale very fast using this model but at the cost of customer experience. since blu smart is paying fixed wages and leasing thier fleet, the customer experience becomes much better. the downside of this is you cannot scale very fast which pe/vc investors like just to just pump in money and exit once it gets big.

With Electric Infra, it’s going to put pressure on Electricity Generation & while the infrastructure for charging can be developed gradually, is the future really electric? There’s lot going on in the battery manufacturing & battery regeneration. Is electric the bubble that we know is burst sooner than later? So quality of cars, drivers is an excellent idea, there are similar issues like keeping the car quality consistent, pay for drivers, training for drivers, customer service. Keeping zero surge pricing can be challenging keeping the profitability for blue smart in the long run…why wouldn’t Uber do this?
