This video covers another CNC controller made by a content creator who didn't build his controller correctly.
Please due your research before following any content creators video as the content they produce doesn't mean they are following best practices to achieve a stable production robot.
If you have questions, or require quotes please message me direct at Storm2313@gmail.com or through my eBay store here. www.ebay.com/s...
Please do your own research before making any purchase for production robotic components. When in doubt ask, and I highly recommend messaging a vendor to test their response time.
Below is a link to my CNC components that support the issues covered in this video along with other products to support your builds.

You dodged a bullet that KZbin didnt take it down I have rarely seen KZbin take side with the "reposter". Keep up the good work! I love listening to your videos. Hopefully I don't make it on here when I post my build 😂

Thank you for your support. The fair use act on KZbin is done on many other channels, and is very specific with its guidelines. This genre leads to many content creators who own CNC robots wanting to show there skills, and they certainly should. Unfortunately, its usually not the skills they purchased the robot to compliment, but the actual building of the robot which usually stems from the majority of information they try to absorb from social media users who usually are uncertain themselves. Its really a shame more content creators don't highlight the projects they make using their actual robots. Many of them have amazing skills, but would rather highlight areas they feel will get more interest on social media due to the massive growth in the popularity of production robots. Thank you, Vince

I have a silly confession to make as i really got to appreciate this high quality information you have been putting on youtube for a long time ... silly confession ... i have skipped over your videos at least a 100 times because of your username 'corvetteguy' ... aside for me being a 'camaroguy' 🤣 I just skipped because i expected to see something else ... like another fabshop showing off the new machine they got to fix their corvette... i deeply apologize for this

you specifically called out a closed loop system. as an amateur electrictian I don't know where EMI can play into inaccuracies at this point. If i have a feedback loop, shouldn't I be safe to some extent?

Thank you for your support. EMI interferes with control signals, through cables which aren't properly shielded which means encoder signals, and motor cables can be corrupted as well as breakout board signals going to your closed loop drives to command them. If any of these signals are corrupted you're still going to have system instability. This is all it takes to corrupt a closed loop system, or for that matter any CNC control system. Don't ever believe that servos aren't vulnerable to EMI because all systems control signals can be corrupted, and this is why servo drive vendors explain to use the proper shielded cables in their drives users manuals. All servos do differently then steppers is use encoders for position feedback. Steppers, and servos provide the same accuracy as seen here by one of the largest motor manufacturers in the world. www.orientalmotor.co.in/qa_det/qa_svmotors04/ Servos are made out on KZbin by most content creators as being supernatural, and the truth is a system with steppers utilizing todays technology micro stepping drives that's properly set up in Mach3's motor tuning, with a transmission matched to the torque of the applications the robot is designed for will yield very similar results. Thank you, Vince

@@corvetteguy50Thank you very much for taking the time to reply! I was wondering because I use stepper motors with encoders, so there should be a very low chance for the driver to not register a corrupt signal (at least in my mind, not knowing all the internals of the driver, I imagine there would need to be a corrupt signal to the motor and simultaneously a corresponding corrupt signal to the encoder). The package I bought was called "HSS86 Hybrid Servo Treiber + NEMA34 Closed-Loop High Speed Stepper Servomotor 8N". Keep up the great work, Mike

Hi. In the VFD he is connecting the ACM and the DCM together ( GND for analogic and digital signals). Is it a correct connection ?
@corvetteguy50
@corvetteguy50 9 ай бұрын
Thank you for your support. HY users manual DCM connection is a COM connection where ACM is a ground connection. I have no familiarity with the ethernet board he's using, but with a G540 this is not correct. Thank you, Vince
