I saw that for the movement of the lathe axes, you use mach3 and the RNR MOTION breakout board with USB connection... in the wizzard of mach3 there is the thread... do you happen to know how to get the spindle position signal in using this type of breakout? or do you know how to make threads automatically using this breakout? It would be better to home the X before the Z to reduce possible problems with the tool hitting anything or the compund interfering with the tailpost.
